When all else fails, BLAME THE CAPITALISTS

The folks at Breitbart have delivered to us TWO very interesting pieces of information regarding our junior senator: (1) Hagan KNEW early on that  policy cancellations would increase under ObamaCare, and (2) THIS:

[…] Hagan’s spokeswoman admitted that the Senator was involved in crafting the language of the actual legislation.

“First, this is nothing more than a political stunt that does nothing to help more people get access to care and highlights the difference between Kay, who is working to fix this law, and her opponents who don’t have any plan to reform our broken health care system,” Hagan spokeswoman Sadie Weiner told the News and Record, a Greensboro, NC newspaper. “In her capacity as a member of the HELP Committee, Senator Hagan was involved with that committee’s markup of the health care reform bill in the summer of 2009.”

In the next sentence of the quote, Weiner states that her boss Hagan was aware of the fact that people would lose their healthcare plans under Obamacare some time ago.

“Once insurance companies began disingenuously offering plans that they knew they would be canceling it became clear that more people would be getting cancellation letters,” Weiner said. […]

A-ha! Those evil capitalists! Those sinister insurance companies conspired to purposely ditch millions of customers — losing millions of dollars in business — JUST so Barry Obama and Kay Hagan would look bad.  *Why didn’t we think of that?* Ingenious!

The statist game plan is moving forward: Jack up the cost of private options, whip up anger against the private alternatives, sending the voters into the loving arms of the government.bureaucracy.  Healthcare, then Day Care.  What’s next?

  1. I knew it was a press release written by Chuck Schumer’s office once I saw the word “disingenuously.” You and I both know that no Senator from North Carolina would have anyone on the staff that would use the word “disingenuously” when communicating to us “low information” voters. Who are they trying to fool?

  2. Ironic, isn’t it, that marrying the heir to an insurance company got her into the senate, and an insurance debacle will get her out.

  3. Did Kay know about the subsidies being given to private insurance companies who do not make enough money off of Obamacare??? Someone needs to run with this one…
