Even MORE Whatley lobbying activity ($$$$) disclosed

Let’s see.  We’ve heard about Mike’s big payday from the national Republican Party.  We’ve heard about the lobbying firm HBW Resources he co-founded.   But we’ve recently learned of yet another DC operation that has also presented Mike Whatley a very nice payday.

The GOP standard-bearer in the US Senate race has presented himself as a “son of western North Carolina.”  But the inconvenient facts about actually being born and raised in Michigan got in the way. 

Whatley’s financial disclosure forms submitted to the US Senate reveal a financial relationship with a group called CapCVentures LLC.  That’s a government affairs firm in DC that does a substantial amount of work on Capitol Hill.
