Woodhouse World: Is Dallas his brother’s keeper?
“Brad and Bob and I are part of the old school method. It doesn’t matter what the legal and ethics people say, we’re going to win this motherf***er.”
— Scott Foval, national field director for Americans United For Change
The “Brad” in that quote is Brad Woodhouse, president of Americans United for Change, the secretive group that — according to James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas — is at the center of a Democrat plot to pay thugs to incite violence at Trump-Pence campaign rallies. He is ALSO the brother of NCGOP executive director Dallas Woodhouse. Foval, quoted above, is Brad Woodhouse’s employee.
Dallas and Brad are close. They’ve starred in their own reality TV show. They’ve appeared together on C-SPAN and Fox News programs. Dallas was at the center of the plot to remove duly-elected NCGOP chairman Hasan Harnett for office. One of the main allegations against Harnett was that he was a “security risk.” One has to ask — given the revelations in the O’Keefe video — if having a guy running the NCGOP, whose brother and best friend is allegedly at the center of a scheme to incite violence against Republican activists and voters, is not a more serious “security risk.”
“There’s a script. There’s a script of engagement. Sometimes the crazies bite and sometimes the crazies don’t bite. […] I mean honestly, it’s not hard to get some of these assholes to pop off […] You can manage to draw them out, and draw them to punch you.” — Foval, also from the O’Keefe video.
On camera, Foval boasts of tactics such as sending people to Trump rallies wearing “Planned Parenthood” T-shirts or carrying “Trump is a Nazi” signs. He even boasts about one event in Asheville where he used a female senior citizen to claim a Trump supporter punched her. The Trump supporter was a male senior citizen with serious vision issues. The man claimed he merely felt someone touch him on the shoulder and turned around to see who it was. He said the woman fell down to the ground on her own. Since the release of the story, the woman has admitted she was paid to start trouble and falsified her claim of assault against the Trump supporter.
In the video, Scott Foval boasts about how his organization tries to stir up fights at Trump events. He points out, on camera, about how they’re careful to try and instigate something in the line to enter the rally so as to avoid getting into the jurisdiction of The Secret Service.
Since the release of the O’Keefe video, Foval and another activist who appears on camera, Bob Creamer, have reportedly been separated from Woodhouse’s organization. But we haven’t heard ‘boo’ about Brad Woodhouse since the video release.
The allegations laid out in the O’Keefe video are serious and need to be investigated. Sounds like a clear case of campaign finance violations. Possibly some incitement to riot charges. Clearly there is the possibility of charges for filing false police reports.
I think we need to hear from Brad Woodhouse about this. And Dallas, as well. How much did Dallas know about this? All indications are that he and his brother are very close. It appears that his brother’s group paid thugs to harass and assault North Carolina Republicans, among others. And that’s a problem.
The real question is whether the incompetence that Woodhouse has displayed and his active work to divide the party is true incompetence or on the other hand whether he is a Fifth Columnist working to destroy the party from within. I’ll bet the left pays a lot more than the NCGOP.
That is exactly my theory. Dallas has done more to destroy the GOP in NC than anything the progressives have done in an overt manner. The actions of Dallas Woodhouse are looking more and more like the actions of a double agent.
Tell me that it is not a coincidence that the NCGOP barely — and I mean barely — supports Trump. Trump is running his own show in NC completely independent of that rot in Raleigh. What a disgrace.
The Trump people would tell you, we are great partners and we enjoy working with them
We make up most of the ground operations for them, and have a strong elections day operations
Legal program
Ground Operations? That would be hilarious if it wasn’t so sad. They’re virtually non existent.
For myself, I do think the Trump campaign does get support from the state and local headquarters…it is on the national level that Trump has been abandoned.
However, please tell me that the election day strategy for the state party is a GOTV operation and not just a “legal operation” program.
I have been in 2 different county headquarters in the last week and both were dead except for a few old guys sitting around, drinking coffee and I guess guarding the buildings from anyone with signs of life.
Please tell me that there is actively work being done to turn out the vote by the PARTY not just the daily emails I receive from Trump.
Please tell me this. Please.
Actions speak louder then words. Believe what you see. At my County headquarters there is one, very small Trump sign hidden in the middle of about 30 other signs.
While at a Trump coalition event at NC GOP headquarters a couple months ago,, Dallas could not have been bothered to even walk down the stairs to show his face. Additionally, there were only about 20 ppl in attendance. Why? Neither the NCGOP nor the NCFRW bothered to send out the notice of the event. And, there was not a single Trump sign, bumper sticker or button in display at hdqtrs. One would not know it was a Presidential election year. We know the President of the NCFRW is a Never Trumper, what is Dallas?
Don’tt see any party support of Trump down in my county. NCGOP is MIA. Unless you call their down ballot support support for Trump. #DefundTheNCGOP and all chapters.
Yes. Down Ballot is what they’ve been preaching.
The NCGOPe should be pushing both state and federal candidates. They are registered with the FEC and have no limitations there. County and District parties are typically not registered with the FEC due to the highly bureaucratic nature of the required paperwork, and so are very limited on what advertising they can do outside of state and local races. One local party in our area is running radio ads for the statewide and legislative ticket but that is not to dump on Trump. It is reflective of not having an FEC registration to spend on behalf of federal candidates. They are actively helping Trump in other ways like getting out his campaign signs.
People like Dallas Woodhouse is the reason I no longer call myself a Republican. Too many Dallas’ representing the party.
