To leftists, NOTHING is sacred.

It is astounding how aggressive leftists are in pushing their platform.  You get it in the movies, on the TV, in the driveby media. in the public schools and colleges and universities. Now, it seems you’re getting it more an more IN CHURCH.

I’ve always viewed church as a political DMZ.  We may have different political beliefs, but we’re all paying respects to the same person AND his son.  At one point, I was attending church with a guy who I was spending Monday through Saturday trying to defeat in an election.  On one day a week. we set aside BUSINESS to deal with more important stuff.

Last Sunday, I was waiting for the morning church service to begin.  I began perusing the bulletin and noticed an announcement about some upcoming “educational” opportunities sponsored by my denomination’s regional office.  The topics?  “Climate Justice: Protecting God’s special gift to us” and “The Bible and Human Sexuality.”

So, our Christian education opportunities are limited to: (1) the gospel of the radical environmentalists and (2) how even God wants HB2 repealed.  *Nice.*

The Presbyterian Church USA and The Methodist Church, along with the Unitarians and the Congregationalists, regularly sponsor anti-military organizations and protests — all the while pretending to welcome service members and their families into their sanctuaries on Sunday.

During one of my 2015 stays in Duke Medical Center, I read about some of the divinity school students protesting in favor of allowing the Muslim call-to-prayer at Duke Chapel.  Franklin Graham spoke out in opposition, and — of course — the students insinuated it was all about bigotry.  (Franklin Graham and his father have done more to help the poor and down-trodden of the world than ANY leftist or government program has or could ever hope to. But that’s another story.)

Now, we hear some of the leading divinity schools are apparently buying into the whole gender fluidity meme:

[…] According to Heat Street, Duke’s particular divinity school is “geared toward people already working in the Methodist church, taking supplemental weekend or summer classes.” Yes, “Methodist,” as in the Christian religion that has already completely, officially, 100 percent decided that their God is a man. And yet, Duke’s guidelines suggest avoiding gender specific pronouns when discussing Him and suggest using “God” and “Godself” instead.

(Yes — “Godself.”)

Look: The great thing about this country is that your religion can be whatever you want it to be. If, in your eyes, God is a woman or genderfluid or a microwave, then you can totally refer to God as being a woman or genderfluid or a microwave. Literally no one is stopping you. In fact, there is an entire Constitution protecting your right to worship His Holiness Microwave if that’s how you want to live your life.

But if you are talking about the God of the Methodist religion, then it’s just plain inaccurate to refer to Him as anything but “Him.” It would be like teaching Hamlet and calling Hamlet “she.”  There is a point where an obsession over political correctness can blind people from basic of facts, and call me archaic, but I really do feel like facts are still the way to go.

Stop kidding yourself that these people can be negotiated with.  They’re about crushing what you and I hold dear and shoving their stuff down our throats. All of this lovey-dovey talk about diversity and compassion and equality is a smoke-screen.  A scam.

It’s about domination.  It’s about control. Of every aspect of my life and yours.
