Quality over Quantity: the key to public schools success

money boardI just love it when liberals prove us right.  The Center for American Progress — A Soros-funded far-left think tank — recently released a study breaking down by jurisdiction each school system’s return on investment (ROI).  Their findings?  The schools with the lowest average spending-per-pupil are performing the best.

Union County Schools are rated as having the best return on investment in North Carolina.  They spend $7,511 per student.  Weldon City Schools comes in at #112 out of a total of 115.  They spend $12,185 per pupil.  Halifax County came in dead last with a per-pupil expenditure rate of $9,968.

Moore County Schools come in at #27 in the study.  They spend $8,036 per pupil.  Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools come in at #29.  They spend $8,050 per student.  Wake County Schools come in at #11.  They spend $7,714 per pupil.  Orange County Schools come in at #23.  They spend $9,781 per student.

Forsyth County came in at #34 with a per-pupil expenditure of $8,604.   Guilford County came in at #36 with a per-pupil expenditure of $8,684.

Keep this all in mind the next time the lefties holler about not spending enough on the kiddies.
