Bend Over, Here It Comes: The great HB2 sellout BEGINNETH.
We’ve told you this was happening. We’ve told you that Art Pope, John Hood, and Dennis Wicker were slithering around behind the scenes orchestrating it. Now, according to driveby superstar Nick Ochsner, the proverbial cat is out of the bag:
New legislation drafted by leadership in the North Carolina House of Representatives seeks to walk back portions of a controversial bill passed during a special session this spring restricting the rights of transgender individuals to use the bathroom of their choice.
House Bill 2 requires individuals to use the bathroom corresponding to the gender listed on their birth certificate, among other things.[…]
This is one of those classic, ponderous WTF moments — kind of like when the Supreme Court said you can’t regulate abortion clinics like outpatient surgery centers. If you have male anatomy, go to the men’s room. Female anatomy, the ladies room. Why is this controversial? Let’s read on to learn more about why the conservative revolution is backpedaling so furiously:

*Gay marriage? Same as Billy and Sally tying the knot. Birth certificate? Same as the ol’ certificate of sex reassignment.* ( Sex reassignment? I guess that’s, um., kind of like birth. Being re-born?) This is codifying the alleged inter-changeability of gender. Now, why is this being done?:

Charlotte is set to host the 2017 NBA All Star Game, an event whose future has been uncertain since the passage of HB2 this spring.
A person with knowledge of the league’s plans, who asked not to be identified to discuss details of the ongoing discussion surround the 2017 All Star Game’s future in Charlotte, said passage of the proposed legislation would be a big step in helping the league to make the decision to keep the game in Charlotte.
The discussion have also included executives with the Charlotte Hornets, leaders from the City of Charlotte and other legislative leaders, the person said.
“What the league is looking for is for anyone to be able to use, at any All Star venue, the bathroom associated with their gender identity,” the person said, adding that that goal extends to all venues used by NBA teams.

So, the NATIONAL BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION is dictating the terms of state law now? Our “leaders” in Raleigh are ready to blow a huge hole in our values system and culture — and the laws of nature — for the sake of ONE stupid basketball game THAT DOESN’T EVEN COUNT ????
I swear, I think Pat McCrory, Dallas Woodhouse and the gang are TRYING to lose in November. Maybe being in charge is not so much fun anymore.
Arguably, HB2 has been the thread that has kept an awful lot of conservatives from breaking away 
and telling the NCGOP to go pound sand. I hope, in November, Uncle Art and Lil’ John understand exactly WHY things didn’t turn out so rosy for the NCGOP. It’s not love for Deborah Ross or Roy Cooper. It’s widespread disgust at being played for fools and stabbed in the back by pharisees who mouth pleasantries about conservatism in public but partake in tickle fights with Dennis Wicker & co. behind the scenes. .
The leadership is willing to SELL OUT their BASE to accommodate a bunch of THUGS for an All Star game.
Tim Moore is a disgusting cowardly liberal. He is the John Boehner of North Carolina and needs the same treatment that Boehner was given. Our state does not need to allow itself to be bullied by arrogant out of state special interest groups like the NBA. Once you knuckle under to such bullying, it will never end.
Conservative voters should watch this legislation. Any politician who advances this sellout needs to be shunned at the polls. Get them out of office.
These people are idiots. They will end up pissing off the GOP base so badly that they will lose the governorship and possibly the legislative majority. Tim Moore is making the moniker ”the stupid party” a reality for Republicans in NC.
Before it is over, watch them also sell out small business by allowing the homosexual activists to sue them in state court. This is nothing but stinking crony capitalist big business trying to pin a target on the back of their small business competitors.

I will be watching this closely. If Pat and my NCGA members show the least amount of support for this….or if it gets passed with them in power I am going to go ahead and vote democrap. We might as well get the Radical Leftists in power if we are going to go that path regardless of the wishes of the majority of NC voters.
The rewrite seems reasonable. If your reproductive organs are on the inside, you go to the women’s room. If they’re on the outside, you go to the men’s room. The sex reassignment certificate allows for a medical inspection, to verify it.
If you commit a sex crime while in the wrong facility, you burn for it.
So what is the big deal now? Why the opposition?
It’s a combination of “leave well enough alone” and “we don’t trust those faux conservatives in Raleigh an inch.”
A big NBA fan I prefer to watch the game on TV than have our state laws dictated by the league. Stand firm, NC, there is much at stake here!
We need to boycott the stinking NBA bullies. I saw one of their leftie coaches make a hard left statement for gun control, too. They are evil incarnate politically. Lets shun them. Do not watch their lousy games on TV or in any fashion.

They are putting the privacy of students at risk, and aiding and abetting the crime of indecent exposure. Maybe they will leave it up to parents to go down to the courthouse to take out criminal warrants against both students going into the wrong bathroom and the school officials who allow it, If I had a child in a school in Mecklenburg County, I would put the principle of that child’s school on notice that if someone of the opposite sex was allowed in the bathroom or locker room with my child, there definitely would be some criminal warrants sworn out, including against school officials.
I will reiterate the point made previously the Republican Party is as fake as day time soap opera’s! As fake as professional wrestling! As long as the American people keep electing fake politicians you can expect this time of disengenuous behavior. Tou can expect what you inspect!
NBA, what is this? Don’t buy tickets and don’t watch. I made this move a few years ago and, I’ve already forgotten why I ever watched it. Money in and morality and ethics out. Stop subsidizing these institutions and let people, thru a free marketplace determine their success or failure.
