Where will Pat McCrory draw a line in the sand, stand his ground, and FIGHT?

Former Charlotte mayor Pat McCrory TALKS a good game on the need to cut taxes and government.

But during most of his reign in Charlotte, The Queen City was the highest taxed locale in The Tar Heel State.  Charlotte attorney Tom Ashcraft fired off a bunch of questions to McCrory about mass transit spending — which we detailed in an earlier post on this blog.  A lot of McCrory’s response to Ashcraft included excuses about The City Council basically RUNNING OVER and THROUGH him.  Does that give you confidence about GOVERNOR McCrory dealing with the money-changers in the temple over on Jones Street?

We do know that McCrory actively worked against a conservative grassroots effort to roll back a sales tax increase in Charlotte to pay for mass transit.
