Council of state races are still in line with the governor’s race. Dan Forest, Steve Troxler, Cherie Berry, are all hanging in. Dale Folwell has withstood the Wake surge to hold on to a lead in the treasurer’s race.
McCrory will live to regret the day he tried to have his DMV confiscate the SCV license plates. The 10,000 SCV members never forgot this and turned against McCrory–whom they had overwhelmingly supported in 2012. The SCV voted straight Republican except for McCrory. The governor put the gun to his head and pulled the trigger. He has no one to blame but himself.
