State Employees come out strong FOR Dale Folwell, AGAINST Mark Robinson
Since their divorce from the SEIU, the State Employees Association of North Carolina has been showing a lot more love toward conservative-leaning and Republican leaders. They’ve come out pretty strong in this year’s GOP gubernatorial primary FOR the guy who has been managing their pension and health plan for the last eight years.

Heck, even Mark Robinson has been out on the campaign trail recently praising one of Folwell’s big accomplishments – turning the state’s billion dollar debt into a billion-dollar surplus.

Great ads, but I hope the proponents understand how to target PRIMARY voters, a totally different (and less common) species than ordinary folk who just turn out for general elections. Until this article, I’ve never seen any of these and I’ve been a primary voter for decades.
