Roy Cooper stomping Mike Whatley’s guts out in the polls AND in fundraising
The November US Senate race really has the potential to be frustratingly ugly for those of on the frustrated right. The state party and RNC grifters and jagoffs have been trying to force-feed Michael Whatley to us for ages. Whatley – remember – is the protege of Susan and Thom Tillis. He would not have a political career without them.
The usual suspects have been using their pipeline to 1600 Penn (via First Son Don Jr.) to sell Whatley to the president. They’ve convinced the liars and the imbeciles in the drive-by media to pretend there is no GOP primary. Vendors and other campaign support pros have had their arms twisted to stay away from anyone not named Whatley. We’ve been forcibly sold this hellish ride to November on this hooptie called the S.S. Whatley.
Let’s look at what this hard-nosed heavy-handed sales job has earned us. There are NO POLLS out there showing Whatley winning over or respectably close to Roy Cooper.
Whatley has been sold to us as some kind of master fundraiser. Fundraising during his tenure at the state party was padded and propped up by pass-through funds from the Republican National Committee in DC.
The numbers through the end of 2025 are now out. Let’s see how Whatley The Chosen One is standing up against the Democrats’ Second-Coming-of-Gomer-Pyle:
Transfers from other committees? That’s almost half of Whatley’s take. That money comes from dark DC sources like various PACs or the RNC itself.
Now, let’s go over to the dark side.
Roy has those dark, spooky transfers too. But his straight-up fundraising is already FOUR TIMES what Whatley has done.
Roy’s cash on hand is again about FOUR TIMES what Whatley has.
Whatley is lucky that the corrupt legacy media is covering for him — pretending there is no primary. That allows Whatley to sit on what he’s got until post-March.
So, little Mikey is getting killed (K-I-L-L-E-D) in the polls and in the checkbook. Two areas we have been told would be NO PROBLEMO for him.
Is the continued denial – the continued cheerleading for Whatley – one big ego protection exercise for the GOPe? The party base hates him as they hate his sugar-daddy Thom. Thom made it through two Senate campaigns against less-than-stellar competition without ever cracking the 50 percent mark. The party establishment sold him to us like this: “Hey. He’s better than a Democrat. Right?”
Now, honestly: IS HE? HAS HE BEEN?
Perhaps the plan is to pull the same weak crap with Whatley. Have him barely squeak through
and continue servicing the special interests like his sugar daddy Thom has done so, um, *well.*
I swear it seems like the party establishment is trying to throw this very winnable Senate race. Our country is facing a crisis. The last things we need are one more weak Republican who runs to help Chuck Schumer and Lisa Murkowski 40 percent of the time, or one more corn-pone career Democrat ready to service Chuck 24-7-365.
This isn’t my fault. I told you about Tillis well before 2014. I’ve also been warning you about Whatley since he first came on the scene.
Wake up, folks. Before it’s too late.
(Me? I’m already practicing: Senator Cooper. Senator Cooper. Senator Coop — *SIGH*.)

I know you’ve covered it previously, but why is no one talking about Whatley’s corrupt election to a 2nd term as NCGOP Chairman? Mr “Election Integrity” himself committed fraud and instituted voting allowances never before seen at a GOP Convention. John Kane was set to be the next chair until Whatever (great auto correct) pulled this fraud over on NC Republicans. Even after lots of folks decried this miscarriage, GOPe “won”and got their guy for a short time before he went national. It’s surprising that R’s are outnumbering D’s with all the shenanigans they continue to pull off. Don Brown definitely seems to be the best choice and hopefully the Unafilliateds will help him win. These scummy R’s need to be shown the door.
Plenty of people have talked about Mr. Whatley’s first and second election as NCGOP chair
since both involved the use of unreliable “voting machines” (otherwise known as cell phones)
using highly suspect software (which lacked normal safeguards against fraud), but the GOPe
and their Uniparty allies, including the fake news media, have done a great job of keeping the
public ignorant of what actually happened at those conventions.
The 2023 convention was particularly entertaining. The “voting machines” said Whatley won,
but Kane’s supporters won two significant victories despite the Whatley team’s best efforts. It
was clear from those victories that the grassroots activists present who were not on the
Whatley team greatly outnumbered the Whatley-GOPe supporters.
Victory #1 – Despite the Whatley team’s over-the-top efforts to prevent Senator Thom Tillis
from being censured, the delegates present managed to give Tillis the censure he had worked
so hard to earn. (https://dailyhaymaker.com/censured-thom-cen-sured-now-walk-across-the-
aisle-and-ask-them-to-help-you-spell-it/)
Then, as icing on the cake, Victory #2 – The same “silent majority” of grassroots delegates
refused to approve language in a resolution offered by NCGOP staff (presumably under the
direction of Chairman Whatley) that claimed North Carolina “has a long history of conducting
elections in a fair and transparent manner. . .”
Those who credit Whatley with preserving Trump’s narrow margin of victory in 2020 ignore the fact
that given Trump’s popularity in NC it is highly likely that Trump’s margin of victory was considerably
greater than that reported by the NC Board of Elections.
(See comments https://dailyhaymaker.com/emerald-robinson-john-kane-lower-the-boom-on-whatley/)
In my opinion, Trump won NC in 2020 because the Uniparty had already stolen so many
elections in other states that they didn’t need NC so they could let Trump win to protect the
GOPe-Uniparty gang that gave us the same crooked Medicaid expansion that other states used
to stick the federal government with more bills and help those destroying our economy with
debt.
Most people don’t know anything about the 1898 Wilmington massacre, because at the end of
the 1800s Democrats successfully used violence to overthrow a lawfully elected government
and seized such firm control of NC government that it took almost 100 years, until 1994, for
another party to gain control of either house of the NC General Assembly. During that time, it is
hardly surprising that schools did not explain how the Democrats disenfranchised black voters
and even killed people just for refusing to vote Democrat. So why are schools still hiding that
interesting and enlightening period of North Carolina history?
The claim that “North Carolina “has a long history of conducting elections in a fair and
transparent manner. . .” “ was not just ignorant, it was highly offensive, and the delegates
voting against it made their sentiments quite clear.
So why did this not make the papers? Perhaps because Chairman Whatley hid the fact that the
Resolutions process did not go as he planned. If anyone has a copy of the 2023 Resolutions as
adopted, I encourage them to share it with the world . . . and particularly President Trump.
(PS- Carol Snow, Jay Delancy, Jim Womack and many others have worked for election integrity.
I don’t believe Rwinglolly sees Mr. “Election Integrity” as actually being an exemplar of election
integrity. In fact, last year the federal government filed a lawsuit against NC and the State Board
of Elections for permitting names to be added to the voter rolls in violation of federal law.
Clearly, IMO, the Uniparty was prepared to steal elections.)
The main problem here is Thom Tillis. He has been a disaster and ultimately he is the one responsible for the loss of this senate seat. He continues to trash Trump which only helps Cooper. There is nothing Whatley or any other candidate we might have put up can do to escape the Tillis sabotage.
I’ve heard all the yadda yadda re: Whatley vs Brown ….
Every time “Thommy Boy” opens his oh-so-smug mouth he costs Whatley 1,000 votes. Now that “Thommy Boy” is opening his mouth almost hourly it won’t be long before Whatley support is in negative #s….
….. Whatley is well passed the point when he COULD have distanced himself from Tillis …. stick a fork in Whatley … he’s done.
Bob Lee nails it regarding TIllis and Whatley. Let’s just hope Tillis doesn’t drag down our court nominees and cost us another seat on the Supreme Court like Robinson did.
