Rasmussen poll: Stein lead over Robinson now down to single-digits
One of the nation’s more respected pollsters is breaking from the pack to declare the Tar Heel State’s gubernatorial race as much closer than many thought.
Most polls have shown Josh Stein in double-digits. Stein hasn’t exactly been wowing people. He’s an unaccomplished, unimpressive, uninspiring beta male. Stein has benefited primarily from his opponent’s self-inflicted wounds with several splashes of drive-by media slime thrown in.
Democrat consultant Brad Crone went public recently with his belief that the race will be tighter — more like 4 to 5 percent – than what many are seeing and hearing. I’ve been of the mindset that the final margin will be more in line with Forest v. Cooper (4.4 percent) in 2020.
Seven of the final eleven polls in 2020 had Cooper over Forest by double-digits.
