NC-11: challenger Ager (D) outraising incumbent Edwards (R)

There hasn’t been much in the way of public polling for this race.  Incumbent Chuck Edwards (R)  is a former state senator whose ticket to DC was punched via a feud between Thom Tillis and former congressman Madison Cawthorn (R).   Edwards capitalized on a lot of help from Paul Shumaker and Tillis, as well as more than a few racy scandal stories plaguing the then-incumbent Cawthorn.  Ironically, Edwards is now being dogged by a racy scandal that has made this once-safe GOP stronghold a surprisingly competitive race for November.

Democrat nominee Jamie Ager – a local farmer tied to a prominent Democrat family in the district – appears to be holding his own in the fundraising battle against Edwards the incumbent.  Here’s what the FEC has on file for Ager through March 31:
