Leftist rags try to prop up their *pretty-boy*, wannabe AG

Sometimes you really have to wonder whether the McClatchy editorial boards have ANY shame whatsoever:

It’s one thing to have opinions that most sensible disagree with.  It’s another to LIE your ass off to try and support said opinions.  “Willing to think and work across the aisle”? “One of the most bipartisan members of the US House”?

Lies. Damnable lies.  According to Heritage Action’s congressional scorecard, Jackson is not even the *most bipartisan* member of the North Carolina delegation.

HeritageAction ranks members on a scale of 0 (least conservative) to 100 (most conservative).

Lame duck Patrick McHenry (R) is the *most bipartisan* in the state’s congressional delegation.  According to the folks at Heritage, McHenry spends roughly half his time with the Republicans and roughly half with the Democrats.  Virginia Foxx, David Rouzer and Richard Hudson are the only ones who even gets close to him.

Jackson is not even the most bipartisan of the North Carolina Democrats.  That honor goes to congressman Don Davis.

In fact, Lil’ Jeff appears to be ranked right there with Deborah Ross – *that font of sanity, compromise and reaching across the aisle.*

Jackson is not even one of the most bipartisan Democrats in the House.  Quite a few of his Democrat colleagues earn zero ratings.  (Jackson gets a 12 on a scale of 0 to 100.)

According to Heritage, the most bipartisan / moderate member of the Democrat caucus in the US House is that crazy dingbat and AOC disciple Rashida Tlaib of Michigan. She scores a 28 on the 0 to 100 scale.  So, Rashida’s voting record is substantially more conservative, more reasonable than Purty-Boy Jeff’s.

*I am willing to bet that most of times Jeff Jackson walks across the aisle are when he has to retrieve a hair spray can that has fallen out of his man-purse.*

Okay, on to Dan Bishop‘s alleged “long, harsh history of discrimination.”  Are they talking about his legislation to keep men out of the ladies restrooms? (I bet that bill has been a sore subject in many a McClatchy newsroom.)

Leftists took to the drive-by media to holler about alleged economic damage done by the bill to keep men out of ladies’ lockerooms.  There’s been no evidence for that.  It’s one thing to scream it at the top of your lungs in front of lazy, sycophant drive-by reporters.  It’s another to actually bring receipts to the discussion.

Any corporate CEO who makes decisions for his company based on whether guys can tinkle in the ladies restroom needs to be sacked yesterday.  A CEO’s job is to maximize profits for his or her shareholders — not to hold the investors and the company’s livelihood hostage to the nonsense liberal business school professors crammed into their heads.

I understand the anger in the McClatchy newsrooms. Those folks are stuck in a dying industry.  The Internet provides a much better product.  Consumers are also growing weary of the newsroom-based  toe-sucking of leftist interests.  If it weren’t for obits and coupons, North Carolina’s McClatchy papers would all be shuttered.

McClatchy need to at least have some respect for the poor folks still shelling out their hard-earned money for a dying product that’s already obsolete and out-of-date by the time it hits the streets and front porches or gets aired.  Tell the truth, for God’s sake. For ONCE.
