Kay Hagan, RIP.

We wanted to take a break from the usual combat to extend our heart-felt (believe it or not, we do have them) sympathies to the family of former US senator Kay Hagan.

This site disagreed with her 99.9999999999999999999999999 percent of the time.  And we came after her hard.  But at least she didn’t hide what she was or pretend to be something she’s not.  (Like the current occupant of that seat is trying to do.)

Sometimes we lose sight of the fact that those ARE human beings with real human frailties on the other side of the aisle or the debate.  This would be a much better world if more of us would take time more often to remember that.
