Mark Meadows: Evidence shows Obama directed FBI spying on Trump

The North Carolina Republican, representing the state’s 11th congressional district, dropped this bombshell today in an interview with Raleigh radio personality Patrick Johnson.  (We obtained a tape of a segment of the interview, which has yet to be publicly broadcast.)

Meadows says on the tape:

“[…] We believe, that contrary to his public statement, that not only was President Obama aware but certainly his chief-of-staff  Dennis McDonough had a briefing on August the 12th of 2016 and then there was another briefing in September.

The messages — the text messages I’ve had the privilege of reviewing and some of the other correlating information would strongly suggest there was not only information given to The White House, but indeed they were involved in directing some of the actions of the Department of Justice and FBI in the fall of 2016.

That’s troubling when you see one president allowing their DOJ to get involved in a political campaign.[…]”

  1. Well, what is the idiot AG Sessions and that blowhard Trey Gowdy going to do about it. How about our dear Sen Burr. My money is nothing.

  2. You know, regardless of whether Barry was your guy or not…this should disturb anyone. Unfortunately so many people are not able or willing to think about if this were happening to “their guy”. Trump derangement syndrome has just taken over in too many places.

  3. A key phrase starts the quote; “We believe…”. You may also believe in the Tooth Fairy, that the Browns will win the 2019 Super Bowl, that the fried food at the NC State Fair is good for you. It boils down to wishful thinking. Have fun with that.

    1. Hope Meadows seriously considers it. If we’re stuck with Tillis or a Tillis clone after 2020, and with the Constitution Party moving for ballot access, I think NCGOP is on borrowed time as it exists today. Meadows might re-unite the Party.

  4. “We the people” scored a helluva battle victory by electing Donald Trump. But we have not won the war YET.

    1. While Trump did get the Electoral College votes he needed a large majority of American voters voted for Clinton.

      1. Your point? That’s how the system has worked for two hundred plus years. And given the way California lets anyone vote, American or not, your “large majority” is open to interpretation.

        1. It is very telling that Hillary Clinton hired an illegal alien to run her Hispanic “Get Out the Vote” effort.

        2. My point is to contrast “We the people” as real people or the Electoral College. The Electoral College scored the Trump Victory NOT the majority of American voters.
