Yep. The mastermind of the 2020 GOP campaign for governor of North Carolina is apparently announcing his own bid for Lt. Governor of the same state:
In case you were wondering, Hal ALSO advised Madison Cawthorn’s May 2020 primary campaign and the November 2022 Bo Hines for Congress (R) campaign.
And lost all three, by the way.
Mr Cawthorn won his 2020 race, and is still our Congressman for a few days.
If Mr. Weatherman runs his own campaign as effectively as he did Dan Forest’s campaign for Governor in 2020, I don’t think his opponents in the GOP primary for Lt. Governor have too much to worry about.
I am baffled by the negative comments about Hal. If a man is running a campaign for another person and that person doesn’t have public appeal, how is it the campaign manager’s fault if the candidate fails. I can tell you that when I went to Madison Cawthorne’s office and tried to get an appointment to speak with Madison, it was Hal who contacted me, not Madison.
Anyone who throws negative comments about Hal ot his campaign success or failures doesn’t know the man or bee in a class thought by this “master”. Nuff said, he is a winner and understands NC Politics and needs,
