Walker tries to drag Robinson into final battle against casinos
The lieutenant governor’s campaign has him hidden away from the voters and the media. But at least one of Mark Robinson’s challengers for governor – former congressman Mark Walker – is trying to draft him into the fight against Tim Moore and Phil Berger’s casino sleaze:
That’s gonna be a toughie. Robinson took roughly $8000 in cash from casino interests. His gubernatorial campaign is loaded with operatives and funds tied to senator Phil Berger, a huge casino fan.
Have never trusted Walker but he seems smart enough to seize a winning issue and ride it hard. Of course, Walker is motivated, this is the same GOP GA that re-districted him out of Congress.
Mark Robinson, it broke my heart when I learned you didn’t stand against the casinos. I don’t know what to say. I certainly thought you were a stronger Christian and conservative than that. It is making a lot of us rethink your run for governor. May God show you wisdom on this other issues. I am praying you will turn around and be the man I thought you were.
State Treasurer Dale Folwell is the only one in the race for Governor who is worth supporting. He has done wonders for our State, while others have done little or nothing. Dale Folwell has my unqualified endorsement. I urge everyone to vote for Dale Folwell for Governor.+
OMG! I can hardly believe it! Larry Pittman made a statement with which I can agree!
I have only disagreed with the honorable Larry Pittman on one comment, and that was on his support for Keith Kidwell. Rep Pittman may not see the change in Kidwell since they served together.
Agree 100% on this comment; Dale Folwell is the clear choice to lead this state.
