US Border Patrol boss: Josh Stein inciting violence against lawmen

It appears some people in high places are getting a little sick of our effete goblin of a governor and his pals painting the current immigration enforcement operation in North Carolina as some kind of terrorist attack that everyone needs to fear.

Here’s Gregory Bovino, commander of the Border Patrol (CBP) operation in North Carolina, giving governor candy-a$$ a little what-for:

We documented some of Stein’s lies and exaggerations here.

Here’s an example of some of the outrageous crap Stein has been adding to the public discourse:

Shameful. What a shameful piece of lying.  What an embarrassment to our state this guy is.

Just looking at some recent public statements from some other prominent Stein supporters only adds to the validity of Bovino’s point.

Remember how this all got started.  Josh Stein, Roy Cooper, and Jeff Jackson all encouraged local authorities to not cooperate with ICE or the Border Patrol. If the locals arrested someone either of those entities was interested in, Stein & co. thought it was OKEY-DOKEY to cut the suspect loose before ICE or CBP could arrive to get them.

Local cops are being ordered to not cooperate.  SO, that makes enforcement even messier and trickier.  Politicians are scaring the hell out of local business people and other residents — making them think ICE and CBP are the second coming of the Gestapo or the KGB.

I’m not a big fan of state or federal tax laws.  Using the Democrats’ – um, *logic* – is it therefore OK for me to refuse to pay my taxes and resist and obstruct government employees trying to collect taxes from me?

If the demagoguery continues, it’s only a matter of time before a lawman or an innocent citizen gets seriously injured or killed. All in the name of trying to enforce the law of the land. All because some slimy liberals wanted to score political points.
