Tilli$$: Nikki Haley would “make a good president.”
That’s our Thommy. Always ready to shove some ill-gotten cash in his pockets. Always ready to stab conservatives in the back.
Tillis worked hard to kill Trump’s border wall. Despite that, Trump endorsed his reelection and scared away a credible primary challenger. You’d think our grifting weasel would exhibit a wee bit of shame and humility or loyalty or gratitude or appreciation.
But of course not. We are talking about Thom Tilli$$ here:
Senate Republicans won’t get the free-for-all GOP presidential primary they predicted (or hoped for). Some still aren’t ready for it to be over.
As the primary boils down to former President Donald Trump against former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, some still-on-the-fence Republicans said Monday that Haley should keep going and give the party a choice against Trump. Haley has no official Senate endorsements while Trump has 27 — more than half the conference — but that doesn’t mean she lacks fans.
“She’s great … and I’m really proud of her. I think it’s good to have that discussion and highlight the different candidates. So, I’d love to see her stay in,” said Sen. Joni Ernst (R-Iowa), the No. 4 GOP leader, who is officially neutral even after Trump won her state’s caucus.
Haley’s showing in New Hampshire’s Tuesday primary will cast a shadow the following weeks leading up to South Carolina, with one question on most Republican minds: Is there any appetite for a one-on-one primary battle with Trump, or is the whole thing over already? There are 22 unaffiliated GOP senators, ranging from Minority Leader Mitch McConnell to rank-and-file members. If Haley is crushed, some of them will are likely to swing around to Trump quickly.
Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine) said she hopes Haley will stay in the race, “but obviously it’s going to depend on what the margin is tomorrow … I hope she does very well.” Collins, who voted to convict Trump in his second impeachment trial, stayed neutral in the 2024 primary because she had many friends in the race at the outset.
“They’ve got to look at the data and look at the path and make the decision that’s right for her,” unaligned Sen. Thom Tillis (R-N.C.) said of Haley. “Statistically, it’s a steep hill. I have tremendous respect for Nikki. She’d make a good president.” […]
I am sooooooo looking forward to 2026, and all those NCGOPe weasels coming forward to tell us how Thom is soooooooo much better than ANY Democrat.
Tillis. The worm. sadly he has turned out EXACTLY as I feared.
Watch our for the Phil Berger and Mark Robinson endorsements, too. Berger is pushing lots of liberal Republicans, as well as useful idiots like Mark Robinson.
In the 3rd Senate District, Robinson has been inferring in our primaries the last two elections. In 2022, when a very conservative former legislator was gearing up to run against liberal Republican Jim Perry, Mark Robinson kicked sand in her face by a quick endoresemnt of the liberal special interest operative Perry. Now this year, Robinson is out again with an endorsement of the least conservative of the two primary candidates.
I once said I could hold my nose for Robinson if he won the primary, but now I don’t think I could do that anymore. He needs to keep his damn stinking nose out of other peoples primaries, especially when he is endorsing the least conservative of the candidates. Of course, he may just be following orders from Berger, but that is bad enough. I certainly will never vote for this phony baloney Robinson in the primary, and I will probably vote Libertarian or Constitution Party if he or Graham is the nominee. With “Republicans” like that pair of phoneys, who even needs Democrats?
NEVER MARK ROBINSON
Yep. Yesterday I got the NC District 3 flyer with the Mark Robinson endorsement of the primary opponent of my proven conservative candidate. He has not learned his lesson from last time and is still doing Phil Berger’s bidding. Speciale for NC Senate District three. I’m done with Robinson. Dale Folwell would be a much better governor. I’m also at a place where I could go third party in a general election if need be. I’ve had enough of the BS.
Tilli$$ and Haley? Who cares what Thom thinks. We censored him at the last state convention. More BS. I’m not with it.
Good Ole Thom has never been a fan of Trump. He is a a RINO. Stop Feeding the RINOS.
#NeverTillis
Tillis clearly has no plans to run for re-election. He is just priming himself for a cush lobbying position once his term is up. He deserted the GOP long ago.
He is pushing the Lankford sellout on the border, and is thus stabbing America and the Republican Party in the back to do the bidding of the corrupt special interests. The sooner we see the back of Tillis the better.
A Mark Robinson win in the Primary assures us Stein will be sworn in as Governor.
Robinson has pissed off:
* the conservative base (those paying attention, not just listening to the “red meat” he throws out to the uninformed),
* the election integrity crowd,
* the medical freedom crowd, and
* he’s pissed off everyone who is, or knows and loves someone who is LGBTQRSZ+.
I won’t vote for Mark Robinson in the General just like I wouldn’t vote for Tillis, Berger, Moore, or any other UNIPARTY fraud.
