Tillis is beyond all hope.
If Tillis thinks this event will help him in his gubernatorial race, he is delusional. There is a reason neither of our US Senators have been on the stump with any Republican candidates. We need Budd to get to DC and force Tillis to actually vote “RIGHT.” If Tillis moves forward with the amnesty legislation, he needs to be immediately censured.
During September and October of the 2020 Senate campaign in North Carolina, I heard Cunningham radio commercials over and over which said: “Another day, another Tom Tillis scandal.” Cunningham and the Democrats said outright that Tillis is corrupt. I want them both asked at this love fest coming up about this. Cunningham should be asked if he was lying when he made these serious charges. Tillis should be asked if the things said about him were true. Why on earth would Tillis still want to be buddy-buddy with someone who publicly lambasted him as a crook over and over again? Why does Tillis so crave the approval of those on the left and in its media? Is he really naive enough to believe that he can get those on the left to really like him?? As for the things he may think he can “accomplish” being “bipartisan,” are any of them good for the country? Compare the total national debt when Tillis first went to Washington to the total national debt today.
