Conservative candidate SWATTED
‘Swatting’ is a nation-wide problem that needs to be eradicated YESTERDAY. It involves placing a call to 9-1-1 and reporting a falsified emergency situation at the home of a political foe. A hostage situation or a mass murder in progress, for instance. Something sure to encourage a use of force.
Law enforcement would be expected to check out something like that. Folks with badges are likely to show up at the reported location dressed in tactical gear and carrying large guns. Most of these situations result in a family dinner or a good night’s sleep being disrupted by armed officers busting through the front door.
None of this is even remotely funny. It could very easily result in someone being seriously injured or killed. It also wastes the time of lawmen who could be out responding to real emergency situations.
Jim Pedersen is a prominent conservative activist in Moore County. He’s retired from the Marine Corps and remains active in many veteran-oriented and charitable organizations in this veteran-laden community located adjacent to Fort Bragg. He’s on the November ballot for Moore County Board of Education — a group recently taken over by far-left ideologues.
Pedersen has an amazing talent for getting under the skin of local lefties. Some of the invective hurled at him via Facebook would curl your hair. But Jim can take it. After all, he is a Marine.
The latest nonsense hurled from the left has gone WAY TOO FAR. Here’s a screenshot documenting the anonymous call to local authorities:
Posting about guns and violence? Seriously? I know Pedersen. It’s rare to encounter the guy without a smile on his face and a kind word coming out of his mouth. Granted, he passionately speaks up for his beliefs. But none of those include violence against civilians or other innocent people.
Take a look at what he actually posted on social media just before the cops showed up:
*Absolutely frightening, eh?*
Here’s what Pedersen had to say post-swatting:
Again, this swatting stuff is depraved and dangerous. The perpetrators are putting lives in danger and wasting law enforcement resources. Imagine if lawmen were delayed responding to a real emergency involving one of your loved ones because they had to deal with one of these false reports.
Swatters need to have the book thrown at them and be locked in the deepest darkest hole we can find.
