Y’all remember Jimmy Dixon, don’t you?  HE is the guy House leadership calls when they need something really heavy-handed, really mean done (that can’t easily be traced back to them).

Well, we got another report of some Jimmy shenanigans during the whole HB2 repeal saga.   As we reported earlier, Speaker Timmy and his crew were having a hard time securing votes within their own caucus to support a repeal deal.  So, they dispatched Jimmy to get ‘er done.

My moles on Jones Street tell me Dixon got busy burning up the phone lines calling precinct chairmen in the home districts of the Republican newbies in the House (freshmen, second-termers, you know).  Mr. Dixon, I am told, oh so bluntly explained to those folks outside the beltline how much their city / county / district would suffer in Speaker Timmy’s House if they did not get their representative on board with leadership on the whole HB2 repeal thing.

One GOP newbie, Rep. Beverly Boswell of Dare County, did not appreciate Dixon making calls to her district.  I am told she loudly voiced her displeasure about it.  (She also voted AGAINST repealing HB2.)

You know Boswell was not the only legislator Dixon leaned on.  Sadly, she is apparently the ONLY ONE with enough guts to call him out for it.

Hey guys, don’t be so down on Jimmy Dixon. He has worked very hard promoting President Obama’s green agenda and legacy and now he is working very hard promoting President Obama’s transgender agenda and legacy. We should thank him for all he has done for President Obama’s policies.

Our hard core environmental movement sure thanks Jimmy. Dixon has been a major promoter of the environmentalist CCA in the legislature, which is working to put an end to your commercial fishing industry, and he frequently even attends their functions. Jimmy is also a key player supporting President Obama’s green energy policies, and he even laughs at his own party’s platform on that issue, supporting lots of your tax dollars to bankroll our solar friends.

With Republicans like Jimmy Dixon, we do not even need Democrats to advance President Obama’s policies.

Since most precinct chairs are clueless and useless, I am sure they’d fall right in line.

I wonder what Rep Frank Iler of Brunswick County was promised when they waived that appropriations bill under his nose. He got a pass to walk away without a vote. We all see that for what it is. Cowardice to take a tough vote. One that he knows his constituents are passionate about. Not voting is equal to a Yes vote. #Primary
