The movie Atlas Shrugged: Part I — based on the legendary book by Ayn Rand — featured a story line about people disgusted with the state of the country who simply hang it all up and drop out of society. Part II is now making its way through the theaters. But we may be seeing the plot of the book and the movie playing out in real-life here in the good ol’ US of A.
It’s now been learned that THREE MILLION Republicans who voted for John McCain in 2008 DID NOT VOTE in 2012. If they had showed up and voted, Romney would have won the popular vote by nearly 200,000.
Are we to believe that Republicans were more impressed with John McCain than Mitt Romney? Or have they, like the successful people in the two movies and Rand’s book, simply given up and dropped out?
