Prayers and sympathy for a Pinehurst leader and her family

This site has been at odds with Jane Hogeman for as long as she’s been on the Pinehurst Village Council.  It’s one thing to have political disagreements.  It’s another altogether to not forget that the politics game involves real people, real lives, and real consequences. 

Sources tell me that council member Hogeman is hospitalized at UNC Medical Center in Chapel Hill after sustaining a “significant brain injury.”  From what I’m told, things don’t sound real promising.

Now is a perfect time to set aside politics and pray that Jane and her family can find the least painful, most peaceful path away from this tragic situation.
