One GOP senator fighting harder than anyone to block J6 pardons. (Go ahead. GUESS who it is.)

People have been locked in solitary confinement. Others have been locked up for years without court hearings.  Front doors of residences have been kicked in by paramilitary police. Lives have been ruined.

Latin American or African banana republic?  Nope, sorry.  This is the capital city of *the land of the free, home of the brave.*

Meanwhile, there is credible video evidence out there showing: (1) some police antagonizing the crowd of protesters, and (2) other cops escorting protesters into the Capitol building and around through the interior like tour guides.

The US Department of Justice has thrown the book harder at people accepting police invitations to enter and tour the US Capitol than they ever have against: (1) Antifa rioters around the country, (2) Antifa rioters destroying DC during the 2017 inauguration, (3) Black Lives Matter rioters around the country, or (4) Antifa and BLM partaking in multiple assaults on the White House during the first Trump administration. Lots more blood and violence there than on January 6.  But the folks on January 6 had — in the eyes of the *Justice Department* — the *wrong* politics.  And they HAD to pay.

The DC Establishment – both parties — are doing their damnedest to ignore the events of January 6, 2021 and push them off the radar screen.  *It appears things go soooooooo much easier politically for these worms if they simply pick up and run with the Democrat / drive-by media narrative about Trump supporters killing cops, storming the Capitol, and attempting a coup d’état.* 

Right off the bat, the establishment ninnies who run the NC Republican Party fell in line with the DC establishment.  US Senator F. Thom Tillis came right out of the gate with an attack on the J6ers — not even considering an investigation. 

Michael Whatley – now running the Republican National Committee — ran his prissy self over to a leftist website to make sure they knew he was one of the first party chairman to denounce the January 6 protesters. 

This week, while the GOP majority in the US Senate mulls over appointees for the second Trump administration, F. Thom Tillis was out and about doing what he does best:

President Trump’s triumphant return to the White House is just around the corner, bringing with it the promise of better days ahead. Among those people anxiously awaiting some much-needed changes are the J6 political prisoners, who’ve been persecuted and treated like prisoners in a North Korean regime. So, when you talk about pardons, many in MAGA believe that everybody, regardless of what they did, should get a blanket pardon. After all, the entire day was one big trap, carefully designed and cultivated to ensnare President Trump and his supporters.

J6 was such a staged and elaborate trap that many argue the violence was provoked by the Capitol Police and federal informants. If you fire into a crowd, what do you think is going to happen?[…]

Despite what the drive-by media and the Democrats try to tell you, NO COPS GOT KILLED on THAT DAY.  We’ve all seen the video of unarmed protester Ashli Babbit being shot to death inside the Capitol by a policeman.  Many of us have seen the video of the unconscious white woman being beaten to death — just outside one of the entrances to the Capitol building — by a black female officer.  In either of those cases — if the races had been reversed – you’d have a political uproar like you’ve never seen or heard.

We’ve also seen video of Capitol cops turning high-powered firehoses and concussion grenades on the crowd of protesters. Concussion grenades are not meant to be aimed directly at a target.  They’re meant to be detonated close by. A direct hit on a person can cause the target to catch fire.  THAT happened to two male protesters in the crowd that day.

So, at least FOUR civilian deaths.  (NO cop deaths that we can see.)

As a matter of fact, one GOP Senator is fighting extra hard to make sure J6 pardons are few and far between.

It’s the Republican Senator from North Carolina, still pushing the left-wing narrative that Trump supporters were evil, violent, and attacked police without any provocation.

We wonder: how does Tillis feel about Ashli Babbitt—an unarmed veteran—being shot to death by a cop with a long history of safety infractions? Oddly enough, Thom didn’t bother to bring her up during the hearing. Go figure, right?

Meanwhile, to deflect from his weak stance on J6 pardons, Senator Tillis is now trying to score some brownie points by touting his support for Trump’s nominees. He’s even waving around a recent Breitbart article as proof that he’s all-in for America First.

“Senator Tillis has been focused on reviewing the nominees in his committees of jurisdiction and making sure they get fair hearings, and he is working on making sure Pam Bondi and Kash Patel get through the Senate Judiciary Committee and get confirmed on the floor,” Tillis spokesman Daniel Keylin told Breitbart News on Wednesday. “Senator Tillis trusts his Republican colleagues to ensure that all of President Trump’s nominees get a fair confirmation process, and any nominee that gets a favorable vote out of committee will get the Senator’s vote on the floor.”

Here’s the thing: Tillis and the rest of the GOP don’t deserve “gold stars” for supporting their Republican president and his agenda. That should go without saying. He’s not doing us some incredible favor by backing Trump and his nominees—it’s what the American people demand and what he’s paid to do. […]

We need to understand what really happened on January 6, 2021.  There were significant missteps by law enforcement on the scene and by some protesters.  The DOJ went way overboard with its response to the activities that day.

We need to understand how to ensure nothing close to it ever happens again.
