#ncga: In HD-36, Democrat von Haefen has MORE Dollars than Nelson

For the second quarter of 2018, that is. 

One of Speaker Tim Moore’s top henchmen (who happens to chair the House Appropriations Committee) finds himself in a little bit of a fiscal hole.

According to the latest campaign disclosure reports, state Rep. Nelson Dollar reports raising $38,800 for the second quarter of 2018. 

His Democrat challenger Julie von Haefen reports raising $70,281.64 for the same period.
