That extra coronavirus $300 you’ve been getting in your unemployment check each month isn’t going anywhere, thanks to Roy Cooper. Yes, those are ‘Help Wanted’ signs you see dotting the landscape like dandelions.
The jobs are THERE. But why get off the couch and go to work when you can make so much more staying on the couch?
I’m beginning to fall in line with the conspiracy theorists preaching that the pandemic response was merely a tactic for statist politicians to tighten their grips on the lives of the little people. Keep people out of work and dependent on that monthly government check. It’s a socialist’s dream come true.
It’s worse, article states $300 a month, it’s technically $1,200n a month. The federal supplement is $300 a week on top of the NC standard benefits. Plus the first $10,200 are free of federal income tax. Pretty good gig to stay at home
