Tillis & RINO comrades fuming over Trump J6 pardons
You could question The Capitol Police about those videos of their officers giggling maniacally as they shot at the heads of January 6 protesters with flash-bang grenades and rubber bullets. You could ask The Capitol Police about the video of their officer beating an unconscious, near-death Roseann Boyland. You could ask about the shooting and murder of unarmed protester Ashli Babbit by a plain-clothed Capitol Police officer.
You could ask about the cops opening doors to The Capitol and inviting protesters in. You could ask about cops providing guided tours to some protesters. We’ve seen no evidence of guns possessed by protesters that day, so where does the insurrection crap come from?
Or you could side with Maine’s Susan Collins, Alaska’s Lisa Murkowski, former Reps. Adam Kinzinger and Liz Cheney, the Democrats and the drive-by media and keep peddling the deceitful narrative about the events at The Capitol on January 6, 2021.
Our senior US senator, F. Thom Tillis, has clearly taken the second path. Tillis criticized the protesters immediately following that fateful day in 2021. (His protege, Mike Whatley, was not far behind him.) Trump and his followers are all about principle and improving the lay of the land in America. People like F. Thom couldn’t care less about principles and only want to keep the DC money spigot flowing in their general direction.
In the wake of this week’s pardons, F. Thom ran to his friends at Waiting Room News (aka Spectrum News). A ready willingness — as a Republican — to badmouth Trump, other conservatives, and your party brings drive-by cameras to you like a magnet attracts metal filings. There’s nothing remarkable about F. Thom. So, all he has to offer the weasels behind the cameras is his traitorous, mean-spirited, back-stabbing mouth.
I spoke with Republican Sen. Thom Tillis about President Trump’s pardons of January 6 defendants…

No cops were killed on January 6. Five protesters were. The *violence* that has F. Thom‘s panties in a wad really didn’t get started until the cops started using the protesters for target practice. Cops can misbehave just like any other civilian can. At some point, we’re going to need the truth about that awful day.
We told you earlier about F. Thom being one of the leaders in the fight against the J6 pardons. Never mind that there are still oodles of questions about the conduct of cops, politicians, and bureaucrats on that day in January 2021. Never mind that defendants were locked up for months and years without a hearing or trial. Never mind that many of the people rounded up got socked with penalties stiffer than most handed out to drug traffickers, murderers, or child molesters.
Hitting Trump gets you loving attention on TV. Loving attention on TV is the mother’s milk for dirtbag politicians like F. Thom.
It’s not hard to make the case that federal law enforcement was weaponized ON and AFTER January 6, 2021 to conduct a campaign of terror and intimidation against Americans who disagree with the shot-callers in DC. A lot of Americans were treated like Cuban or North Korean political prisoners in the wake of January 6. NEVER AGAIN.
F. Thom‘s strategist is still Paul Shumaker, who has been working for more than 20 years to *sanitize* the North Carolina GOP of conservatives. Tillis and Shumaker believe that our state – despite electing Dan Forest twice, Mark Robinson once, Dale Folwell twice, and Jesse Helms five times — is a squeamishly middle-of-the-road or even left-of-center battleground. They believe the conservatives, who they can’t stand, will begrudgingly stick with Tillis. The real fight, they believe, is over voters who like a lot of what the Democrats have to say.
In reality, voters would love someone who shows them some respect and does exactly what they promise. Haven’t seen that yet from F. Thom. He’s won a ticket to Washington twice with less than 50 percent of the vote. Why start being honest – or nice – with the *peasants*?
I am not active any more in local GOP activities. Got too frustrated. Having said that, I believe we should find one good conservative candidate to back and primary Tillis. My hope is that someone like Dale Folwell will get great, competent people behind him that can help he or she run a well-funded, first class campaign to unseat this worthless Senator. We can’t afford several people running that have no hope of winning, diluting the vote. Where are the Ashley Moodys, Jim Banks, Tim Sheehys, in North Carolina. Maybe we just don’t have them. Sad.
WE THE PEOPLE will not stand for THOM TILLIS to be in the Senate anymore! But let’s be honest with ourselves. We should put up a solid candidate like Dale Folwell. But alas, we will put Mark Robinson or some wishy washy Congressional member looking to climb upward in the perma-grift. What we need to do is focus on the deep state and uniparty within the local school board. That is the most important election of our lifetime, every 2-4 years. WE THE PEOPLE!
You sir are focused on the right priorities. While we should be concerned across the board, we can realistically do more here than anywhere else.
I do need to add that while battling at the local school board level may be the most realistic for most grassroots activist, it should be noted that it is no picnic. In my county the school board members that are willing to do their jobs are viciously attacked by the local deep state and local uniparty. I would be willing to bet you have experienced the same in your county. Unfortunately, more times than not local school board members choose to go along to get along rather than experience the unpleasantness. I would also note that many members go along to get along for their own personal benefit. Grassroots citizens really need to support the good school board members because we oftentimes do not know what pressures and obstacles that they are having to endure. Also, if our good members are not supported, the corruption and ineptitude will continue to the detriment of our children and our communities.
You are spot on that we need ONE strong conservative to primary Terrible Thom Tilli$. Our primary process has been hijacked by a despicable pair of Undocumented Democrats – Phil sleaze-Berger and Tiny Tim Moore – who pushed through a absurd 30% threshold to “win” a primary. That was a “Tillis Protection Act” that also stacks the deck for other incumbents. The establishment bullies will try to split the challenger vote. That is why we MUST rally behind ONE challenger.
NEVER TILIS
NEVER BERGER
I could get behind and support Dale Falwell
Dale Folwell I can definitely support, but I will not be supporting just any Republican this time around. We’ve been living with the results of settling for something supposedly better than the Democrat for several cycles. This party (Repubs) needs to get itself together. As things are, Roy Cooper has got to be feeling mighty great about his prospects. This is a bad time for poor Republican leadership and a rotten to the core party infrastructure.
Ditto – but be sure to go to the county convention, become a delegate to vote at the state convention on NCGOP leadership. I don’t think the grassroots are organized to bump off the old guard this year, but stranger things have happened.
IF the counties are allowed to hand count our hand marked paper ballots, there might be a chance. A full recount (audit) would ensure the tallies are correct.
The current NCGOP regime doesn’t want fully auditable, transparently conducted election (well, at the NCGOP state convention or in the Primary elections) though, so that may not happen in Greensboro.
The last several state conventions have been exercises in non-transparency and frankly not even credible. Without some oversite, or at least witnesses, it will make it easier to make it even worse. Without some movement away from the horribly wrong direction this party has been on in recent years, our state is headed for a monumental political disaster (even worse than the recent ones). I know it’s a pain, but honorable people do need to show up.
This convention is very important because the insiders are trying to mangle the NCGOP Plan of Organization to further entrench their control. That must be stopped.
Conservatives are fools to think the NCGOP will be changed by their efforts, more than a decade of fruitless attempts to do that have failed because neither the Raleigh mafia nor the RNC will ever let that happen. Conservatives need to desert the gop en masse and unify under the banner of the NC Constitution Party to show President Trump there’s a problem in North Carolina that will bite him if he doesn’t fix it.
I’m not entirely in disagreement with you. You are probably ultimately right. I just can’t move entirely in your direction yet because of ballot access. Presently, I have to battle on both fronts for it to make sense for me.
Dale Folwell is a wonderful alternative to the current RINO Sen. Tillis.

100%. We NEED ONE candidate. Dale would be acceptable. BUT, Dale has to want it and commit to 100% campaign. I thought his gubernatorial campaign was mighty weak!
I think Dale Folwell would make an outstanding US Senator and would love to see him in that role. However, he needs greatly to improve his candidate skills to get there. For one, he needs to understand that it is essential to go after an opponents record on the issues.
We might be looking at running against a different establishment hack than Tillis. There have been rumors about Phil-atio Berger wanting to run for that seat and he is just another Tillis. Another possiblity is Tillis protege Michael Whatley. I read that Trump is going to appoint him to head up the Hurricane Helene efforts in NC. The only way I see that being attractive politically to Whatley is if he intended to run for political office in NC. Whatley is also another Tillis.
I agree on all counts. The recent confirmation vote on Pete Hegseth for Sec of Defense makes me wonder if Tillis might be positioning for another run. His vote in favor was crucial in the confirmation. Breaking ranks with McConnell, Susan Collins, and Alaska Sue M. must have been hard for him.
Conservatives need one good candidate to run against whatever swamp snake it turns out to be.
Speaking of RINO’s. Why not ask Mark Robinson to run for Greg Murphy’s seat? You don’t have live in the Distict and how many of you would rather see Mark then the Good Doctor.
I think Mark Robinson has too much baggage at this point. He needs to stay home, fix his businesses, and image. He talks the talk, but walking.. not so much. Brant has been all over this.
There are two reasons why Mark Robinson should never be supported for anything in the future.
1) He ran a lousy campaign for governor. He chose incompetent campaign staff who did not understand beans about running a campaign or using issues. He chose those people, and they did a poor job, just like the incompetent staff he hired for the lieutenant governor’s office.
2) On issues, Robinson is all talk and no DO. He was AWOL on key issues of concern to conservatives as lieutenant governor.. I do not trust him on issues any farther than I can throw the legislative building. The only issue he ever did anything on was school curriculum and after a short stint on that, he quit even showing up for state school board meetings. On the Green New Deal, he was briefed by conservative experts but refused to do anything. He failed to take a stand on the Obamacare Medicaid expansion. On the casino bill, he refused to take a stand until AFTER Berger threw in the towel and it was over. Such “courage”! Even on his signature issue that gave him his start in politics, gun rights, he sat there like a bump on a log while “Undocumented Democrat” Phil Berger killed the Constituional Carry bill.
The sooner Mark Robinson just goes away, the better. He was a massive disappointment. Many expected great things, but we got nothing.
Can we just drop Mark?
Please, let’s not do this again.
I’m 100% FOR a STRONG candidate against Murphy. I detest Murphy (as bad as Tillis); however, Mark is NOT that candidate.
Victoria – 100%. Reaganite – 100%. jwmson – 100%.
When it comes to judging candidates, it should always come down to ACTIONS vs WORDS.
If I’ve learned one thing in the past decade it’s never – ever – trust anything that comes out of a NC politician’s mouth when they’re running for office. Some say what they think we want to hear. Some pretend to be what and who they’re not.
To judge whether an R candidate is a RINO pretending to be a Constitutional conservative, review their previous actions & votes. It’s that simple.
