NC GOV polls STILL careening off to the left
August has not been a good month for the Mark Robinson campaign. We recently told you about a passel of polls conducted in this month that were ALL good news for Democrat Josh Stein. It looks like two more — that should make the AG smile a little bigger — have been released:
It’s going to be a bit of a challenge to dismiss the Fox News poll as liberal bias. (But we all know the Robinson camp’s spokes-parrot will do his darnedest. *SQUAWK*!)
Fox News has Trump leading Harris in North Carolina by one point — 48 to 47.
The Emerson poll is definitely one to keep an eye on. For the 2020 governor’s race, its final poll was closest to the final margin than any other. Their current poll has Trump leading Harris in North Carolina by one percent — 49 to 48.
I’m sorry to say that I’ll probably end up leaving the governor’s race blank. No way I’m voting for Mr. Stein, but due to the coverage you’ve been doing of the Balanced Nutrition boondoggle, I don’t think I can vote for Mr. Robinson in good conscience, either. If you can’t manage your private finances, you have no business trying to manage public ones. Perhaps that’s a bit naive given our debt situation overall showing that politicians don’t know what proper financial management is at any level of government, but that’s just how I feel. It’s a shame, too, because the man can give a hell of a speech. We’re many, many years past the point where speeces can suffice, though.
In my humble opinion, most polls aren’t worth the paper they’re written on. MANY over-sample democrats SIGNIFICANTLY. They do this to: 1) demoralize Republicans/Conservatives to the point we don’t donate to, work for, or vote for worthy candidates, and 2) “justify” the results of any elections they steal. Now, you don’t have to believe me, but you might want to consider something well-known conservative columnist Wayne Allyn Root wrote about two weeks ago–“Stop believing all the fake polls. I’ve reported for a decade now the only 2 accurate polls are Rasmussen & Democracy Institute. Both poll honestly. Latest polls out from both in past 48 hours. Trump up 49-45 at Rasmussen. Trump up 48-44 at Democracy. That would add up to Electoral LANDSLIDE. Media only quotes fake polls that oversample Democrats. Totally flawed methodology meant to excite Democrats & demoralize Republicans. And justify stolen election. If I had to bet, I’d bet Trump up by 8 points or more by election day. Kamala is at high water mark. She only goes down from here.”
Betty, please consider a vote for Vinny Smith, the independent choice from the Constitution Party. Conservatives do have a choice in the governor’s race. Vinny Smith for NC governor!!
Whatever you think of Robinson, think about how liberal Stein (he makes Cooper look like a choir boy) and vote for the Republican platform.: life, no transgender surgery for kids without parental permission,, no drag queens in our schools, no shut down if another Plandemic, etc
We need a conservative as Gov.
Again, what is your point
Elect Josh Stein?
Because that is exactly what occurs and then you are, happy?, sad?, indifferent? accompllished?
And I would be all FOR a 3rd party IF we had numbers and we could destroy BOTH the uniparties, D and R.
We want 4Y of Josh Stein running ALL the state agencies?
I will say it once again, I’ve voted for FAR WORSE than Mark Robinson……
Agreed. I’m not a dupe. CONSTITUTION PARTY, all the way down my ballot.
And a PS, Robinson and several other R’s running were at a local event I attended.
He spoke as well as several others.
Know what was outside protesting? Josh Stein supporters. Harris supporters. Most, if not all were black. Everyone I saw was black but that doesn’t mean whites were not participating.
Again, GIVE Stein the lectern, podium, stage, voice and power FOR 4 years.
We will look like NY City, Philly, LA, San Fran…..cause that’s WHERE he will take us…..
Something to keep in mind.
If the polls are correct, and Stein wins,
3 of the last 5 NC Governors would be/have been the immediate former Attorney Generals
At the same time, 5 of the last 6 LT Governors would have lost Governors Races
There is a strength is running as a sitting AG…. That position has an issue set: Fighting crime, protecting seniors from scams etc that popular and non-partisan
Of
course the LT role and no real strong duties
There is an issue here for the Republicans that is beyond the candidates
There sure is, Dallas! That problem IS YOU, and the crooks you represent!!
YOU and YOUR FRIENDS in Raleigh have ABANDONED the conservative principals we sent you to fight for and made money FOR YOURSELVES.
You think those of us back home are a bunch of stupid hicks. (Some of us are!) But we can read, and we can see what’s happening right in front of us just fine.
The call is coming from inside the house. It’s you.
Except that the last two of those AG’s were totally useless in fighting crime or fighting for North Carolina’s interests. Stein has vulnerabilities, but those running Robinson’s campaign are not going after them.
Robinson could have raised his profile on issues as Lieutenant Governor, but after his brief foray on school curiculum, ran like a scared rabbit away from actually doing anything on issues conservative care about or ineed, any issues.
Keep on with the same questions, that are basically “how is this happening”. Blame yourself, you vote for the same crap, you get the same crap. I will no longer be voting for corrupt crap. Vinny Smith for NC governor. I need a yard sign.
I am making a simple statement that Lt. Governors do not run from a position of power or strength.
Now, Mark Robinson is going to lose this Governor’s race because of Mark Robinson. He says stupid stuff and does stupid things. He picked a new fight with Simone Biles today who probably did not know that he existed. It’s time for him to make his money on Fox News.
