Iryna’s (*accused*) killer registered to vote in Charlotte FIVE TIMES in FOUR MONTHS
We’ve been hearing a lot about the tragic murder on a Charlotte commuter train of a young woman recently arrived from Ukraine. The suspect – DeCarlos Brown, Jr. — has been IDed in media reports as a habitual criminal offender, homeless, mentally ill and a drug user.
We already informed you about how you can register to vote in North Carolina by denoting the street corner you sleep on. North Carolina elections officials recently reached an agreement with the Trump Department of Justice on repairing the state’s voter rolls.
Well, we rooted around and discovered that at least five voter registration forms were submitted to the Mecklenburg elections office for DeCarlos Brown, Jr. between June 21, 2024 and October 10, 2024.
We obtained images of each registration form. Elections officials confirmed for us that each of these forms applies to the individual accused of the Iryna Zarutska murder. They also confirmed to us that the presence of five registration forms for the same person is “very unusual.”
Officials told us they could produce no evidence that Brown actually voted.
Here’s one form filled out on June 21, 2024. According to the date stamp on the form, Charlotte officials received it on August 21.
The address on the form has been tied to someone IDed in media reports as a Brown family member. The contact phone number marked on the form for DeCarlos Brown — an optional item to fill in — rings at Mazda of South Charlotte.
Here’s another form for Brown filled out on July 2, 2024 and received by Charlotte officials on August 26. The phone number and address are the same as on other forms. No party affiliation is IDed.
Here’s another form for Brown filled out on August 21, 2024 and received by Mecklenburg officials on September 4. Address and phone info are the same on this form as the others.
Here’s yet another form for Brown filled out on September 25, 2024 but received by Meck officials on October 7. Address and phone info are the same as on other forms.
Here’s another form filled out on October 1, 2024 and submitted to elections officials on October 10.
(This looks like a good project for Brent Woodcock, recent hire Dallas Woodhouse, and — we hear – cousin Eddie Woodhouse to dig into.)
