Dan Bishop opens fire on “woke, weak, woefully unprepared” opponent
With the apparent collapse at the top of the state’s GOP ticket, the attorney general’s race is becoming even more crucial for the state’s Republicans. Congressman Dan Bishop – who has hardly been a shrinking violet on Capitol Hill — appears to be chomping at the bit to take his hard-nosed style to Raleigh.
Bishop is opening fire with a pretty slick ad that compares his experience with that of Democrat nominee Jeff Jackson.
We just launched our first ad: The Attorney General’s office is no place for on-the-job training. With 30 years of courtroom experience, I’ll be ready to fight for you on day 1. Woke Jeff Jackson won’t. #ncpol pic.twitter.com/6iDq9CPW5Z

In the ad, Bishop touts his 30 years of experience which he says includes 403 appearances in trial courts, the state Court of Appeals, and state Supreme Court. He compares that record with Jackson’s three years as an assistant DA in charge of traffic court.
Have you been frustrated with our last two attorneys general and their utter refusal to defend our state from the leftist lawfare hordes? Bishop is a much different kind of animal.
We are likely toying with the idea NC goes blue.
I BLAME 100% on the NC GOP!
We could have almost or certainly the majority of Council of State, blue. And Joshy gonna be at the top.
Think Coop was bad, just wait. Did anyone ever realize just how liberal Coop was? 8Y of Joe Biden support, green energy, medicade expansion, veto on school vouchers and one WOULD THINK the Gen Assembly was dem-led??? That’s right, the GOP held the Gen Assembly…..
I am so excited to have Dan Bishop back in NC. Josh Stein couldn’t get the crime reforms passed through the GA, so he managed to muck up the judicial system via his office. Red Tape. Ask any police officer how they feel about Stein and the changes he has made throughout the judicial system. It’s close to impossible to hold a criminal accountable. He has managed to make every LEOs job a living nightmare. Soft on Crime Stein.
Dan Bishop has a chance if he quits complaining about CNN and Mark Robinson. That will get him nowhere fast. He has to focus on his election, why his agenda is better, and get the 20% in the middle to come to him as the solution for AG.
For what it’s worth, Dan Bishop has my complete and enthusiastic endorsement. We served together in the NC House, back when he ran HB 2 to keep men and boys out of women’s and girls’ bathrooms, showers and locker rooms. When the ACC, NCAA, Paypal, and many other business concerns put pressure on us to repeal HB 2, and Tim Moore and other so-called “leaders” in Raleigh, including Pat McRory, in a cowardly display of spinelessness, complied with those demands, I was so proud of Dan for standing up for common decency and refusing to agree to that repeal. I was proud to be one of 37 members who voted with him to oppose that stupid repeal. I served with some great people in Raleigh. Dan was tops. He has always stood for the rights of our citizens and to uphold our State and US Constitutions. He is the kind of honest person we need in leadership in this State. He will uphold the law as our State Attorney General as it hasn’t been done in many years. I tried to think of something good to say about his opponent, but nothing came to me. Please vote for Dan Bishop for NC Attorney General. Godly, decent people will never regret it.
