#ncga: HB2 “compromise” protects employment for trannies, illegal aliens
While all of the crony capitalists in the various and sundry chambers of commerce around the state line up to kiss the feet of the NBA and ACC commissioners and repeal HB2, there are some important details that are not being reported to us about the so-called HB2 “bipartisan compromise” being floated in the legislature:
Ҥ 143-422.2. Legislative declaration.
(a) It is the public policy of this State to protect and safeguard the right and opportunity of 34 all persons to seek, obtain and hold employment without discrimination or abridgement on 35 account of race, religion, color, national origin, age, sex or handicap race, sex, national origin, citizenship, religion, age, veteran status, genetic information, pregnancy, handicap, or disability by employers which regularly employ 15 or more employees. […]
(d) It is the public policy of this State to protect and safeguard the right and opportunity of 9 all individuals within the State to enjoy fully and equally the goods, services, facilities, privileges, advantages, and accommodations of places of public accommodations free of discrimination because of race, sex, national origin, citizenship, religion, age, veteran status, genetic information, pregnancy, handicap, or disability […]
No discrimination based on citizenship? So, if I refuse to hire someone because they are in this country illegally, am i going to be dragged in front of the Human Relations Commission in leg irons?
No discrimination based on genetic information? It sounds like the honorables are codifying the idea that if one says he she one is a girl, but has the anatomy of a boy, they must be considered a girl. Are we honestly caving on this principle? Are we honestly surrendering to the leftist hordes demands that the differences between males and females be stricken from society? That gender membership is strictly voluntary and interchangeable?
Folks, we are seriously getting the wool pulled over our eyes. This is bigger than bathrooms. The leftist hordes know it, and so should we.
”Compromise”? How Orwellian. I guess these douchebags would say that the British ”compromised” at Yorktown or Lee ”compromised” at Appamattox.
Lets list the Barney Frank Republicans who are sponsors of this awful leftwing sellout bill:
Primary sponsors:
McGrady – a real leftie and former national leader of ;the far left Sierra Club. What is this guy even doing as a Republican?
Ted Davis (RINO-New Hanover)
Sponsors:
Dollar (RINO-Wake) – a real prostitute for the special interests and big spending
Murphy (RINO-Pitt) – also supported and sponsored Michelle Obama’s stupid ”food deserts” legislation
Holly Grange (RINO-New Hanover) – we were told this woman was a fake conservative and she is showing it repeatedly, she has also come out of the closet as a Solyndra Republican
Fraley (RINO-Iredell) – this is Robert Brawley’s old district. Fraley has a very liberal record on many issues. Brawley needs to run again.
Ross (RINO-Alamance)
Linda Johnson (RINO-Cabarrus) liberal on lots of issues
Hardister and Faircloth (RINOs – Guilford)
Malone (RINO-Wake)
Horn (RINO-Union)
Bradford and Dulin (RINOs-Mecklenburg)
This should be a target list for recruitment of primary challengers. None of these sellouts should go back to the General Assembly. Take them out in the primaries if possible, and if not, shun them in the General. We do NOT need Barney Frank Republicans.
I emailed every sponsor and co-sponsor of the bill with this question:
“Can you explain the inclusion of “citizenship” in the language of HB186- Repeal HB2/State Nondiscrimination Policies? This appears to be an attempt to protect illegal aliens in NC.”
I have not received a response from ANY of them.
I would suggest the citizens do the same and DEMAND some answers.
Most of these turkeys are flunkies for the mother of all special interest groups, the Chamber of Commerce, a sleazy bunch that has morphed from what once was a supporter of free enterprise and limited government to one that supports corporate welfare, big government spending, corrupt crony capitalism, and liberal social issues. Businesses that support free enterprise should move their membership to the Federation of Independent Business.
It does appear that this lousy bill is an attempt to push the liberal agenda on multiple issues. It is probably the worst bill of this session. This bill should be a third rail for conservative and Christian voters in future elections. Just say NO to these Benedict Arnold legislators. Every one of them needs to be gone. We need to drain the swamp of these phonies and replace them with real Republicans..
Eliminate the drama. NC pair with Texas and start their own sports leagues. In three seasons Tex-NC can ask sky high fees for coverage, while the sports-political apparatus keeps destroying their brands over a toxic LBGT fad.
