Nikole Hannah-Jones: Cuba is a model we should follow.
Those of you who are still trying to make Ms. Hannah-Jones out to be a victim (and the rest of us racists) need to finally shut up. The Orange Beast was thought to have outdone herself by claiming we fought The American Revolution to preserve slavery. But get a load of THIS:
Yeah. Everybody’s dirt poor. Oh, and TRY to complain about the Cuban government while in Cuba. See what happens.

After admitting she’s “definitely not an expert on race relations internationally,” she posits that “if you want to see the most equal, multiracial democ… it’s not a democracy – the most equal, multi-racial country in our hemisphere it would be Cuba.”[…]

Cuba has the least inequality between black and white people of any place really in the hemisphere. I mean the Caribbean – most of the Caribbean it’s hard to count because the white population in a lot of those countries is very, very small, they’re countries run by black folks, but in places that are truly at least biracial countries, Cuba actually has the least inequality, and that’s largely due to socialism, which I’m sure no one wants to hear.
The unearthed podcast follows The National Pulse revealing Jones authoring an op-ed praising Cuba and the role of education as “the cornerstone of the revolution.”

Actually, these comments would place her right in the mainstream of the UNC faculty. The people on-campus who are harrassed and intimidated beyond belief are conservatives. Conservative faculty members — the few there are — have to keep their mouths shut to avoid a public lynching. (NEVER forget UNCW’s Mike Adams.) Students who bring conservative speakers to campus often face leftist hecklers and rioters seeking to shut it all down rather than allow others to express their freedom of speech.
Instead of piling one more commie-symp onto the dung-pile in Chapel Hill, try evening things out with some right-leaning (or at least FAIR and sane) professors. Just say NO to indoctrination. Say YES to exposing students to both sides of arguments.
So the Republicans voted to give this woman tenure. The GOP hierarchy of this state is beyond pathetic. Once again the RINO UNC trustees caved to the UNC leftists. Then Hannah-Jones made fools of them. Why have Berger, Moore and the GOP legislature refused to accept any responsibility for their disastrous UNC appointments over and over again for the past decade? They have betrayed all of us.
The pattern of putting spineless wimps on the university boards by Republican legislators is disgraceful. We need some backbone by our GOP majorities and particularly the wimpy leadership.
