Top aide to NeverTrump presidential candidate, MD Dems, now consulting for NCGOP
He’s worked for Democrats in Maryland. He ran the Internet side of NeverTrump presidential candidate Evan McMullin’s independent campaign. Now, he’s the webmaster for the NCGOP and a major player in the state party’s online fundraising efforts. Meet Ian Patrick Hines of Hines Digital.
According to his LinkedIn profile, Hines spent some time working in Baltimore City as well as State of Maryland government bureaucracies.
Democrat Martin O’Malley — who ran for president in 2016 — was governor of Maryland during this time period.
Most people know that Republicans in Baltimore have just about gone the way of the dodo and the dinosaurs. So, holding either of these positions means one worked for Democrats.
So, what does it say when your state party is making noise cheerleading for Donald Trump, but employing a guy, who has worked for some of the most notorious NeverTrumpers in the land, to handle digital communications?
Are we to believe that there are actually NO good Republicans in North Carolina who can design a decent website or a fundraising email?
He also worked for the Remain side of the Brexit debate.

well I have currently met what seems like the nicest Christian and Godly and Conservative women but she is currently in Hungary so Hungary seems like a pretty conservative option

made by any of us humans, and backgrounds sometimes obscured, but it appears that this train of inquiry is not over. Anxious to know more.

This topic explains why, in just the past 30 days according to my Chairman, certain people of different factions within the Party who typically oppose each other are beginning to unite in opinion where the State Chairman is concerned and it isn’t an opinion of approval. Your colleague from District 2 has quite the track record for pushing unsuitable people into the State chairmanship. Having a lobbyist at the helm of the Party, a vacant ED, and a clueless wonder heading up Trump NC Victory assisted by a bunch of out-of-state lieutenants, doesn’t inspire confidence going into November.
It just seems there is always something that stinks, no matter which way the wind blows.

Another example of why donations to the State party should be withheld—time to start over again-not sure we will ever overcome the “POLITICIANS” that control our lives!!! HOWEVER wecannot give up!!

Anything is an improvement over the current clown show on Hillsborough St.
Maybe, we should stop grifter Vice Chairs from having their own slush fund account while the party can barely cover operating expenses.
Also, GPA and student life background checks for NC GOP employees and stopping them from illegally funneling email lists to Lt Governor primary campaigns will help. Although, it’s not like the NC GOP actually effectively uses those email lists anyways – so maybe that’s not such a big deal.
