Dallas’s gal-pal thrown into NCGOP vice-chairman race by the Tillises?

The Tillis reign of terror is apparently continuing.  Our very own version of Bill and Hillary Clinton are busily primarying Dan Forest for the 2020 GOP gubernatorial nomination.  They’re trying to  force Mike Whatley in as NCGOP chairman.  They’re slithering around behind the scenes in the Joan Perry for Congress campaign in the Third District.

And they’re doing all this while trying to sucker us into giving them six more years in Washington.  (They KNOW their biggest problems are intra-party.  So, why not just put all their silly friends in power in the party  BEFORE Thom faces the voters in 2020?)

Now, we hear they’re tossing hapless little Sarah Reidy-Jones, the vice chairman of the hapless Mecklenburg County Republican Party, into the NCGOP vice chairman’s race against conservative Miriam Chu.

You may remember that the Meck GOP got wiped out in 2018.  The last GOP man standing there was Dan Bishop, who is now running for his life (and Congress).  Apparently, Susie and Thom think the Mecklenburg Miracle needs to go statewide.  (How do you top federal criminal indictments and financial near-ruin, though?)

If you want real positive change at the state GOP,  you need to pull the trigger for Jim Womack and Miriam Chu at the upcoming NCGOP convention.  Going with ANYONE ELSE is an endorsement of the mess we’ve been seeing on Hillsborough Street since 2015.

Say HELL, NO to Susie and Thom (and their shenanigans) here in 2019 AND in 2020.

  1. It is obvious we have our own swamp to drain here in NC. We do not need anyone hand-picked by the Tillises to be a part of the NCGOP. Mecklenburg was a disaster in 2018 and we needn’t reward the folks who were part of that with a higher office in the NCGOP. Please vote for Miriam Chu as Vice Chair of the NCGOP. No more good ole boy machinations, please!

  2. Tillis has shown his despicable RINO colors too often. His unbelievable rant in the Wash Post against the President recently infuriated me and obviously a ton of other people. He runs for the President for votes, then veers dramatically left on immigration and the wall . How COULD HE BE SO DRAMATICALLY WRONG on the number one issue President Trump got elected to FIX! We flat out don’t trust the man on anything. He and Sen Burr ARE the swamp.

Having met, in my earlier years in local politics with Jim Womack, and worked with Miriam Chu at our Moore Republican Women’s Club, I heartily endorse both of them as the strongest candidates for HONEST, issue driven conservative principles we’ve had in years! We’re very blessed to have them involved. My best to both of them, for our party desperately needs people like them!

  3. Ah yes, Mrs. Reidy-Jones, whose nickname is Baby Bird. She liked to brag that Robin Hayes took her under his wing, like a baby bird. How is that working out now?

  4. I’m on Reidy-Jones’ email list, and after reading her “accomplishments,” the Meck leadership’s failures, Reidy-Jones’ backing by Tillis, and her training by Robin Hayes, I am walking away. I will vote for Miriam Chu.

  5. I’m going to vote for Jim Womack and Mirium Chu, too! They’re good, honest, dependable, hard working, and driven by issues that matter, not self-agrandizement or money grabbing like so many in politics!

  6. I am a data person so lets talk data
(facts) Let’s look at the data. How many republicans from Mecklenburg County won in 2018. ONLY 3!!! THREE

How many won in Moore County where Chu is? 100% !!!

So who gets results? Who is a leader? Chu

  7. OMG! I so agree. Sarah Reidy-Jones is a joke! She is a plant by Tillis. AND she continues to support Hayes and all the misfits. If any delegate votes for her, they do not have the best interests of the NC GOP
