Anyone up for a probe?
The 1st Congressional District Republican Party will be considering a resolution calling for a formal investigation of the mob seeking to lynch state GOP chairman Hasan Harnett:
Resolution Requesting Investigation of NCGOP Central Committee
Whereas; On March 20th 2016 the NCGOP Central Committee passed a resolution of No Confidence and Censure of duly elected NCGOP Chairman, Hassan Harnett.
Whereas; The NCGOP Central Committee operates in a non transparent and secretive manner with non disclosure agreements placed on its membership.
Whereas; The NCGOP Central Committee has thwarted every effort for Chairman Harnett to be successful, including denying him access to NCGOP Headquarters, and his email account.
Whereas; Certain members of the NCGOP Central Committee have publicly made known their discontent with Chairman Harnett with statements for Harnett to resign, to something has to be done to remove him.
Whereas; Evidence is mounting that suggests possible civil or criminal conspiracy to remove Chairman Harnett.
Whereas; Chairman Harnett, and Vice Chair Nix were locked out of their NCGOP email accounts due to possible “cyber attack”, yet no one else’s email were locked out.
Whereas; Ken Robol, 3rd district webmaster has signed an affidavit suggesting Chairman Harnett reached out to him to hack the NCGOP Website, where evidence of text message screenshots suggest the opposite.
Whereas; It is known that Central Committee members voted on the censure of Chairman Harnett without seeing or having access to Mr. Robol’s signed affidavit.
Whereas; It is known that Mr. Robol, and Harvey West (husband of 3rd District Chair, Kim Cotten-West) are business partners.
Whereas; The NCGOP Central Committee meeting on March 20, was an Illegally called meeting due to lack of 10 day notice according to NCGOP PoO. Photos show envelope postmarked less than 10 days prior to meeting.
Whereas; Screenshots of text messaging suggest Central Committee member John Steward and NCGOP Executive Director, Dallas Woodhouse plotting strategy to have Chairman Harnett removed from the Chairmanship.
Whereas; This scandal is beginning to make national news, and will potentially damage the outcome of our general elections in November.Therefore be it resolved; The NCGOP 1st District Republican Party petitions the NCGOP Executive Committee to open a formal investigation into this controversy, and take necessary action including but not limited to; removing individuals from the NCGOP Central Committee that were directly involved in said conspiracy, and taking legal action to the maximum extent of the law against those individuals.
Resolved; The NCGOP 1st District Republican Party petitions those Central Committee members who voted in favor of the Harnett Censure, who were not directly involved in said conspiracy, to make it known publicly and distance themselves from those with direct involvement.
Resolved; The NCGOP 1st District Republican Party encourages all factions to unite and work together toward electing Republicans in November upon satisfactory resolution of this conflict.
Resolved; Upon adoption, this resolution shall be made available to: Chairman Hasan Harnett, The entire NCGOP Executive and Central Committees.
From what I am hearing, things are about to heat up on this subject in the 2nd district AND in the 3rd. *Hoo-boy. Pass that popcorn over here.*
District conventions do not happen until April. At this juncture, I suspect this is a resolution proposed by the district’s Resolutions Committee.
I suspect things may get ugly at the upcoming district conventions, something the party definitely does not need at this point, when we should be uniting to support our candidates.
We need to start the Conservative Party of North Carolina, like New York has. If we still vote Republican, we will not forfeit the elections to the Demoncrats. Over a (long) period of time, the elected officials will have to play to the Conservative Party to win.
Yond, that’s an idea I’ve been thinking about for a long time. The way NY law works, a candidate can be on BOTH the Republican line AND the Conservative Party line on the ballot. (or on both the Democrat AND the Liberal Party lines) Anyone in NC who wants genuine change shouldn’t just desert the NC GOP to be Unaffiliated but should enter another party even if it’s the Libertarians, THAT would scare the crap out of the NCGOP because they know that disaffected voters are diffused, unfocused, and harmless as Unaffiliateds, but joining and growing another Party would be a direct threat to the NCGOP.
What does it take to start a party? I’ll switch tomorrow. For now, I’ll still vote Republican, but I can tell you that I’m not voting a straight Republican ticket in November.
I’m ready for a conservative party composed of conservatives. The GOP is a big government party with conservatives occupying a place within it. Unfortunately, the leaders of this party don’t seem to care much for us. I’m a tolerant man, but I’ve about soured to them, too.
But, in the meantime I’m all in for investigating “the mob seeking to lynch state GOP chairman Hasan Harnett.”
Ken Robol is a money hungry fool and his services are mediocre at best. Ken Robel’s involvement with anything should send up a red flag. This guy is nothing more than an overblown car salesman with a big ego and anyone who engages with him should be warned in advance.
I love morons like you who go after a person…when someone should go after you and your taxes and finances and personal loyalties. Just who in the hell are you to do a personal attack on someone. Do us all a favor and shut the hell up…

Don’t need another “party”.All parties, because of the system, become corrupt with size and power. Unaffiliateds can, by their individualism, become a powerful movement, putting fear in both parties. The party is the problem.
A movement doesn’t depend on personal leadership, but is anchored by sound, eternal principles like individual liberty and free markets operating under a limited government. Forming another party is doing the same thing and expecting different results.
That’s the spirit. All you conservatives and grassroots peons need to follow this advice. Don’t go away mad – just go away. We in the GOP elite don’t want you or need you. That’s why we jacked up the registration fee at this convention to suppress your votes. Go ahead and waste your time as Unaffiliated instead of pestered us in the NCGOP. Don’t dare to try to fight us for control of the GOP. It is ours and you cannot have it.
We will keep our own party offices and get even with those grassroots upstarts for what happened at the last convention even if the public fight to do so leads to the defeat of Republican candidates in November. Our offices and control of the building on Hillsborough Street in Raleigh are far more important than those. McCrory and Burr can always find something else to do with their time.
The First District Chair resigned today. Whoever authored this resolution should be sought out and made the next First District Chair!
