On the generic congressional ballot, the Republican beat out the Democrat by 48-43.   Hagan’s approval-disapproval was at 42-52, while Tillis’s stood at 37-50.  Obama was at 41-55.

In late September,  High Point had this race at Hagan 42, Tillis 40.
