Thilli$$$$$: No E-Verify. (Amnesty BY SPRING.)

If only WE had pooled our money and tossed him ONE MORE DOLLAR than the Chamber and the Farm Bureau did:

Establishment GOP Senators are trying to assemble a cheap-labor amnesty for young illegals which will not protect Americans workers from unscrupulous employers, nor reduce the huge annual inflow of migrants and workers, according to a report in Politico.

The site reported:

Senate Majority Whip John Cornyn (R-Texas) said the Senate Judiciary Committee chairman, Chuck Grassley of Iowa, has convened a working group on immigration that includes himself and GOP Sens. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, Thom Tillis of North Carolina and James Lankford of Oklahoma, as well as other lawmakers. Sens. David Perdue of Georgia and Jeff Flake of Arizona also are among the Republicans who have been engage

d in the talks, according to sources.

“There’s a solution to be had there,” Cornyn said. “But we just need to get on with it.”

… some outlines of an agreement are becoming clearer. For instance, the senators have all but ruled out including a mandatory workplace verification system known as E-Verify in a final DACA agreement, according to multiple lawmakers engaged in the talks.

E-Verify is the government database which companies can use to verify the legality of a job-applicant. Immigration reformers say the job-magnet for illegals must be turned off by requiring all employers use the E-verify system for all job applicants.

The Senators are considering vague “beefed-up border security provisions,” but the article did not say if the GOP Senators plan to support the construction of the border wall.

The GOP group is responding to pressure from Democrats and business groups who want the federal government to extend President Barack Obama’s so-called “DACA” amnesty for the 700,000 to 3 million younger illegals. Democrats and business groups also want to block an immigration reform which would reduce the number of immigrants and drive up Americans’ wages.

Maybe these idiots ought to take a look at how the immigration issue is playing electorally in Europe these days. I suspect Americans will react similarly at election time.

There have been several elections in Europe in the last few weeks in which illegal immigration was a big issue, and they tell the tale.

First there was Germany, where the two governing parties that let in a million illegal alien migrants, Merkel’s CDU and its partner the Social Democrats both got spanked by voters with their lowest percentage of the vote since World War II. Two parties not in the outgoing parliament which took harder lines on immigration, the Alternativ fur Deutschland and the Free Democrats roared into parliament in third and fourth place. Merkel’s party lost a fourth of its seats.

Then came Austria, where the traditional conservative Peoples Party took a very hard line on immigration, almost indistinguishable from the populist anti-immigration right Freedom Party. Both called for vigorous defense of Austria’s borders to stop illegal alien migrants from entering the country and for immediate deportation of illegal alien migrants. Together they got 59% of the vote as first and second placed parties and are now in the process of forming Austria’s new government. The softer on immigration Social Democrats fell from first place to third place and the open borders Green Party lost all of their 24 seats.

Now comes the Czech Republic, which elected a solid majority of parties which are tough on illegal immigration, starting with the ANO party of Andrej Babis, dubbed the Czech Trump, a billionaire populist who campaigned on nationalist themes, including not accepting illegal alien migrants and whose party was far out front in first place. Running second was the traditional conservative Civic Democrats, who also took a very hard line on immigration, and they were followed by the new Freedom and Direct Democracy Party which took the hardest line of all on immigration, including calling for banning Islam in the country. The formerly first placed Social Democrats lost two thirds of their seats and fell to sixth place, largely due to being viewed as weak on immigration.

Voters on both sides of the Atlantic are tired of our countries being overrun by invasions of Third World migrants. We are tired of the sellout politicians like Thom Tillis. Tillis might as well be Senator from Mexico.

John, I think every voter in NC agrees with you totally!! WHY Bannon or someone has not come up with a Rep. to oppose Tillis is beyond me! He’s as bad as Flake as I told his office when I called them and asked him to beg Tillis to join him in leaving Senate

Thank you, Linda, but I think we still have a big job to do in making sure everyone gets the message. Big Media is certainly not doing the job. The Haymaker, I have found to be the best source of what is really going on in North Carolina and we need to encourage more conservatives to read it regularly. There are also other good sources, like the Beaufort Observer, which carried the info on the European elections above and is probably the second best source of NC news.
