That’s right. According to a major national survey, a whopping 30 percent of North Carolina voters say they either Don’t Know who Thom Tillis is, or have No Opinion of him. (Only Michigan Democrat Gary Peters fared worse. Thirty-four percent of his constituents either don’t know his name or have no opinion.)
Crazy Bernie Sanders has a 75 percent approval rating with the folks in Vermont. The survey concludes that Kentuckians think much more of Rand Paul (53 percent approve, 37 percent disapprove) than they do of Mitch McConnell (44 percent approve, 47 percent disapprove.) McConnell has the largest disapproval rating in the Senate. New Yorkers love Chuck Schumer by a 63 percent (approve) to 27 percent (disapprove) margin.
In North Carolina, Thom Tillis has a 39 percent approval rating and a 30 percent disapproval rating. As I said, THIRTY PERCENT either don’t know him or have no opinion. Contrast that with Richard Burr, who just won reelection in November. His ratings stand at 44 percent approve, 35 percent disapprove. Twenty-one percent either did not know him or had no opinion.
Tillis has three more years to work things out. He’s had some upward mobility recently.
Polls in May and earlier this month had him at 29 percent approval.
I suspect they work on getting that level of unknownness!

What had Thom done for you, lately? Ummmm? Well, he stated we didn’t need a border wall.. Ummm he stated we need to expand HB1 visas; in order to import more cheap labor for his buddies who will bleed the entitlement programs to death. Ummm can’t think of anything Thom has done? He has been absolutely silent on obama care. But, it’s repeal was his number 1 campaign promise. I called his office and his horrific staff just laughed. The nerve of these elites is gut wrenching!
It looks like Tillis is trying to do something about his low name recognition by going to war with the Trump administration, putting holds on Trump appointments, in order to push Tillis’ demand to let more foreign workers into the US

Tillis is just Hagan without the skirt. Can’t see why we bothered to elect him. Oh, sorry, I didn’t vote for him. Wrote in John Rhodes or Bugs Bunny, either would be better.
39 percent approve of Tillis. 37 percent disapprove. That’s 76 percent with an opinion. You say a whopping 30 percent have no opinion. The real number is 24.

Actually, if you read the details of the survey on the linked article, you’ll see the breakdown for TT is 39-30 with 30 percent undecided or Don’t Know. (Reading IS fundamental.)
Ah, now I get it. You botched the numbers in your summary. It was not 39-37 Tillis approve/disapprove, as you reported. It was actually 39-30 Tillis approve versus disapprove, making him much more popular than you misreported.
Writing is fundamental, too. (And so is owning up to one’s mistakes.)
