“Conservative Future Fund” = Bill Graham, Jay Faison + DEE STEWART

teaThere have been all kinds of shady groups stuffing fliers in our mailboxes, making robo-calls and running ads this election season.  One of the more active groups against conservative legislators in Raleigh has been something called “Conservative Future Fund.”

One of their biggest targets has been state Rep. Justin Burr (R-Stanly) — who has had everything short of the kitchen sink thrown at him this primary season.  His offense?  He ticked off the influence peddlers in Raleigh for daring to shed some light on their schemes.

If you check the filings for Conservative Future Fund at the state board of elections, you’ll find two names behind the group:  Jay Faison of Charlotte (who we’ve already discussed on this site) and something called “Pita Raleigh, LLC.”)

edit-12319-1393443565-14So, with Faison involved, we know this group has the protection of solar subsidies as a motive.  But who is behind the Pita group?  Well, the secretary of state’s office says it is none other than Salisbury attorney Bill Graham.   Graham has been a donor / player with the NCGOP for some time.  He briefly ran for governor a few years back.

Graham is ALSO a former client of uber-consultant Dee Stewart.   In fact, the Conservative Future Fund’s records show Stewart’s company was paid $14,879.20 on February 26 for “mailers.”   (If Stewart is involved, you can be sure that Paul Shumaker is close by.)

Adding to the intrigue is the CFF’s receipt of $3000 from ”The North Carolina Fund for a Conservative Future.”   The Fund’s Raleigh address is the same one used by NC House Legislative Partners — a fundraising scheme established by then-speaker Thom Tillis.    (Roger Knight, a Raleigh attorney frequently affiliated with Stewart and Shumaker operations, signed the articles of incorporation for House Legislative Partners.) FU-NoRules

So, Stanly County, THESE are the folks behind all of the nasty-grams you have been getting in regard to Justin Burr.  These are the folks who have declared war on conservatism on Jones Street.

When it comes to leftwing garbage in Republican politics, progressive consultants Dee Stewart and Paul Shumaker are usually in the woodpile somewhere. Robocalls and nasty, often totally false, mailers are Stewart’s stock in trade. Civitas nailed Stewart and Shumaker for taking money from some really far left environmental radicals to push Obama’s green energy agenda in the General Assembly. They are political rent boys of the worst order, with not a principled bone in their bodies.

Faison is an Al Gore / George Soros discipline who worships all the Chicken Little fairy tales of the global warmists. Unfortunately, he inherited a lot of money, and he wants to use it to be the Tom Steyer of the GOP, the far left buyer of political races. When scumbags like Faison are out there trying to buy legislative seats for the liberal Democrat agenda, it is time to allow real Republicans to endorse in primaries against them.

Most galling is their abuse of the term ”conservative” much like Karl Rove and Haley Barbour do. When big government liberals like them claim to be conservative, they are running under false colors and trying to deceive the voters.

It was whispered to me that Stewart is helping run reMARKable Mark Johnson’s campaign.

Dee Stewart is poison. I would run, not walk, away from any candidate he is involved with, and that includes in the general election. Just say NO to Dee Stewart! The same goes for Paul Shumaker.

Let’s not pretend that Justin Burr is some sort of ideological purist. He’s lined his pockets with special interest money for years.

Justin Burr was once part of the big government Republican establishment. He has seen the light and in the last session has come over to the good guys. That makes the establishment Obama Republicans furious and that is why they are going after him so hard. They view Justin Burr as someone who has jilted them.

One of the most evil big government mafias out there is the Obama green energy machine, and that is who is backing Justin Burr’s opponent. This green energy scam will seriously gouge both taxpayers and electric ratepayers if they are not stopped.

I know Justin personally… Not buying it, and apparently neither did Stanly County.
